IIDOTR: Australia 2022
IIDOTR: Australia 2022
1) Albon. Superb racing, and stayed incredibly calm the whole way. Well done!
2) Mclaren. What a way to bounce back.

Albon for obvious reasons, and George Russell. Most points that George has ever scored in a single weekend and and thrusted himself to second in the championship, beating the illustrious Knight of the realm that is his teammate.
And Leclerc isn't doing too badly either.

(1) Albon - most unexpected and a clever strategy to gain 1 point
(2) Nothing else really

Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
1. Albion - 10th place. Woo
2. McLaren - They bounced back after two horribly average weekends. See if the form continues
HM - Russell - Solid race even though had a bit of luck.

Albon: Dragged arguably the worst car on the grid to a points finish
McLaren: That’s more like the team that performed well last year

Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
1. Alexander Albon - without the mandatory tires change rule he'd have finished 7th without a single pitstop. The point he scored puts some real pressure on Latifi who probably thought he will do much better vs a teammate once Russell is gone. Not quite.
95 GP / 63 DNF / 5 pts
Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
1) Alexander Albon: Managed to get a clean point at a time when his teammate was trundling around at the back.
2) McLaren: A decent result after two miserable weekends.

1. Williams and Albon. Very clever and got a point on the board (which I have to admit I didn't think they would get this season). Even Latifi crashing wasn't his fault (for once)
2 Mclaren. That's more like it from them. Good result.
Hm George Russell. Second in the championship and making his majesty Lord Lewis Hamilton very angry. Consistency pays off.

Benetton of 1992. Never a reject
Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
I'm saying Albon then Russell. McLaren really were around where they should be expected to be based on 2019 - 21 form.

Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
Alexander Albon: A point for Williams! His performance so far has been pretty much the exact opposite of his team mate's.
Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
I'm gonna give it to Albon and williams strategy for pulling off a big gamble. Though honourable mentions for Mclaren (even though they're expected to be rather inconsistent, it's still a breath of relief for them)
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

1. Albon - pleased for him and Williams. Maybe he's found his home.
2. Russel. Excellent ahead of his whiney teammate.
HM: Leclerc. Blinding pace and a fastest lap.
HM2: The new cars - the races are much more interesting.

1st Albon
2nd Aston Martin mechanics - they surely earned their money with all issues caused by Stroll and Vettel.

Re: IIDOTR: Australia 2022
1 Albon - yes, for all the reasons mentioned already
2. Leclerc- OK the Ferrari is quick , but I'm not sure it's that quick. Quallie: was not easy for him to get pole, and race he had to keep out of Verstappen- lunge distance . All the while looking after tyres etc, and had safety car handicaps thrown at him to take away his lead. And all despite head wobbling
So I was impressed how he made it work . I could be mistaken and the Ferrari is actually easily fastest , so it was no biggie, but...
