Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Baku 2023

Post by Londoner »

1. Yuki Tsunoda's tyre in the sprint race. An excellent effort, 8/10 for style.

2. Karun Chandhok. Actually made Crofty tolerable for two hours. Shame about Kravitz.

Tsunoda: P10 in a shitbox.

No one: Stratified grid strikes again.

I don't think such an unremarkable race deserves an IIDOTR myself.

Pirelli tyres. Multiple wall brushes without any tyre failures plus hard tyres lasting to infinity and beyond.

Tsunoda: Competitive all weekend, scored a point and crushed De Vries

No one else did anything worthy of the award

Yuki Tsunoda for scoring a point, by far the biggest surprise.

Leclerc I guess for getting a podium given Ferrari's shenanigans so far this year but really nothing stood out so no award.

Has to be Yuki really. A Red Bull 1-2 even if it was the opposite way round to what was expected thought it was a specialist circuit for Checo, the chasing 3 teams covering 3rd to 8th and Lando top of F1.5 is all expected I guess.

Yuki Tsunoda - scored some all-important points in what seems to be a remaster of Jordan vs Minardi.

It would be funny if FortiWinks returned from his absence only to find out that I'm the Forti in town now.

No Red Flag in the proper race at Baku and only one SC.
