1- Mclaren- Norris was outstanding and Oscar was robbed of a podium by the safety car- added to that was the fact that they went on the hards for the reset and neither got overtaken. Outstanding weekend.

2- Alex Albon- Williams and Alex go together like gloves- another outstanding weekend

Definitely McLaren. Without the safety car, they would have had a double podium. And even the result they got is an amazing one! In the last decade, they have only scored more points twice.

Honorable mention to Williams – another very strong result for Albon, and Sargeant was very close to scoring his first point, too.

HM: Piastri, gutted not to get his first podium. Lewis for getting on the podium after starting 7th and dropping to 8th. Albon because how long is it since Williams have looked this competitive? Perez for getting as high as 6th but if he could just get his act together in qualifying for once....

McLaren: Clearly their best weekend in a long time and Piastri is officially unrejectified!

Albon: he has clearly shown he deserves a bigger ride in F1. And if the rumors of a possible move to Ferrari in 2026 are true…

1) McLaren: Looks like the upgrades might have elevated them a long way from their dismal pace earlier in the year. Piastri in particular looks less cheated for having been passed over for a race seat after winning the 2021 Formula 2 Championship at a canter.

McLaren: Where do you want to start? 2-3 in Qualifying, should have been 2-3 in the race. The clear second quickest car all weekend. Their first podium since Imola last year, Piastri unrejectified and the team scoring more points in one race than the first 9 put together.

Williams: Albon on his own was excellent again but Sargeant was excellent all weekend too and unlucky to miss out on a point. James Vowles has really worked his magic since joining and Williams are now 7th which would be their highest finish since 2017

I'll agree with this, have to go for Williams as a whole rather than just Albon. Every chance Sargeant can score a point at Spa or Monza.
