After a relatively barren 1960s, French drivers seemed to drip out of every pore of motorsport. While many of them experienced significant success in Formula 1, others simply didn't get the breaks. Our subject this time around had the misfortune of getting drives with BRM just as the team entered its death throes, a quick fling Graham Hill's doomed eponymous squad and for Frank Williams at a time where young Frank was more a proto Del Boy character than the hard as nails fellow he'd morph into at the end of the 70s. But all that pales into insignificance when you realise this man is the only chap to qualify a CONNEW in a World Championship Grand Prix! Yes, we're talking about François Migault!
