Alt-Crash Team Racing 2000 Season: The Beginning

In 2000, not long after the events of CTRs adventure mode. Nitrous Oxide returns to give the leftover karts a use for the world he once planned to take over.



Welcome to Alt-CTR! A fun little idea I've had for awhile now, this will be the first series I've hosted here. However I've been doing this kind of stuff for over a year now elsewhere, anyways format for the 2000 season.

16 of the 18 CTR tracks make up this seasons schedule
6 teams, with 3 cars each (a nod to Nitro Kart) for a 18 driver grid
One shot qualifying, with whoever takes the most poles winning the platinum relic award
The top 6 race finishers will score points, 7-5-4-3-2-1 + 1 for pole
Nitro Kart tracks and Chars will eventually be added, with some Char timing being based off game appearances

For this season there will be 22 drivers to select for ownership of, the teams will also each need an owner. The sheet will be posted to see the updates as the seasons go by, it'll also have the schedule and season standings.

So with that, it's time to start picking drivers and filling in teams open seats.

Letting you all know that I've claimed Dingodile (aka "Dingo Dille")
He would like to join Escuderia Cortex (not to be confused with Scrub Era team Escuderia Pemex) for the 2000 season, though he is waiting for the next opportunity to start his own team.

For now no, I don’t have a set timeframe for Spyro characters yet

Fake Crash will complete Escuderia Cortex's lineup

Aku-American Racers has confirmed a deal with Crash and Coco Bandicoot to drive for us this season.

Currently things are looking good, still in need of owners for Pentacific and Tropy Co. Grand Prix, but aside from that we're looking good to have this started by December.
