Guardian F1 track quiz

Post by Row Man Gross-Gene »

This quiz is for guessing tracks based on photos/clues, I got 12 out of 13 right. Lot of folks here will likely be perfect.

9/13. With at least 3 that I got wrong, I knew it was one of two...

That surprises me, I'd have backed you as perfect! For Dallas, I noticed the trackside advertising which helped me on that one. For almost everything else, I really needed to use the age of the cars (plus the clues) to help me identify it more than anything else about the track. Except the brands hatch, I recognized the turn they showed from the Grid video game.

Nicely done, but you needed to look at the Dallas trackside ads!

Gottem all! Some of them not from photos but more from context, the Aintree one in particular.

Brands Hatch was easy, recognised the view from Paddock Hill grandstand…

Well done Wallio, and another perfect score for Alextrax52!

I'll say my only one wrong was guessing Aida instead of Fuji. What a stupid I am!

Only 9/13 for me.
I've never been that great at recognizing the tracks

Martin Brundle: "Well, it's a fairly short debate, Murray".

Another perfect score for Batty! And don't feel bad Duck, that's still pretty good, and I made a few lucky guesses that paid off too.

Perfect score for me but some tracks were harder to identify than others and Adelaide was incorrectly stated as having hosted the Australian GP from 1985 to 1996.

Nicely done, and I’m glad the quiz is still up.
