Old site material

Post by Har1MAS1415 »

Not (quite) all of it made it onto Wayback Machine.

The only casualties I know of are:

The Tony Shelly profile
Aussie Grit - Marking Webber's F1 career

Can't think of any others at the mo.

Everything (except the guestbook as that was hosted off-site) is backed up safely.

However, we're not allowed to make it available publicly.

Dreamcatcher Formula as well, I'd love to read that again some day.

Quite a number of the contemporary opinion pieces were not saved, especially towards the end of the site's life around 2013-2014.

Are we still not even allowed to discuss what happened? Why we went from F1 Rejects to GP Rejects?

Is it still a faux pas to mention F1 Rejects?

I'm not at liberty to mention the exact reason why Jenoch had to hand over control of the site to us. It was a rather unfortunate set of circumstances, I'll give you that.

Obviously mentioning F1 Rejects as a part of our history is fine, we're still over 5 years short of existing longer under our current name than F1R. But we don't have the permission to republish anything made by Jenoch (which was the majority of the site apart from some guest articles).
