Christian Klien is back

Christian Klien is back, which is nice, but why isn't it Karun? Maybe someone just got the initials the wrong way round...

But whose thread will stay on top? FJackdaw or mine? I think it will be mine, ive got the team behind me and this thread really suits my typing style. I know ive lost threads in the past (Best Thing To Say On Winning A Championship, for example) but Ive put that behind me and ive really got my focus back.

I just hope Enoch doesnt poke me to tell me to let FJackdaw past....

Of course, I spelt Klien wrongly, which doesn't help my cause!

So of course the question is: how well will Klien do? Will he be anywhere other than last? First practice about to start to give first clue.

Im really hoping he gives a good showing to prove that experience pays more dividends than pay drivers (unless you're name is Heidfeld).

I hope he does well, so that (hopefully) Yamamoto doesn't get back in the car. But still, why not Chandhok?

Its sort of unfortunate that Klien is returning at a race where he wont know where the corners are, fingers crossed hes been using his PS3 to the full.

He's got to feel really duped right now. I don't really have much admiration for Chandok, but he's really received the short end of the stick from Hispania.

Top Gear get to change the Stig every so often. Karun Chandok should be our new HWNSNBM - the driver who gets mentioned so often as the person we would like to see back in F1 that we can no longer mention his name.

KARUN FOR HWNSNBM !!!

Or Klien your visor before the race, or else your laps might not be Klien.

Seems he didn't get a Klien lap in FP2 today, as he's 0.8 Sec behind Senna.

Oh dear. It seems The Great Sakon has been overdoing his lunch...~

Well, good for Christian Klien, but I hope they will at least have enough sense to put Karun back in the car for Korea, seen as how he's the only driver with recent experience on that track (well, at least what was supposed to be the track).

With him not knowing the track Christian is really being thrown to the lions!

I was going to come up with a Christian pun, but you beat me to it. Oh well.

This may not be exactly on topic, but still of interest maybe:
Colin Kolles is being a bit arrogant:
Q: (Mat Coch - pitpass.com) Colin, there’s been a lot of speculation about the future of Hispania with Durango, Jacques Villeneuve, even Stefan GP in recent weeks. What are the team’s long term goals and ambitions and what are you doing now to really drive the team towards those goals?
[Colin Kolles]: To be honest with you, I’m really speechless, that you believe this speculation. Why should I answer you if you mention the name Durango and of the people you just mentioned before? I cannot make any comment because I never spoke to these people. We are working day and night. Obviously Tony has his plans, we have our plans and we will stay with our engine, we will have a different rear end, and we will have a different car but we will stay with Cosworth, this is the plan.
