That Schumacher gets everywhere...

Post by AndreaModa »

...even onto the Wombats' latest album!

Most of the lyrics aren't really directly linked but I can't help thinking the chorus was written with his comeback in mind! :D

I'm guessing there aren't many other F1 drivers that feature in songs, though I remember from a programme on Jackie Stewart that he was the inspiration behind a George Harrison song I think. Anyone know any others?

I initially misread Wombats as Wombles.

Robbie Williams has a video, dedicated almost entirely to Jackie Stewart (and a Williams team or him as a driver, not clear... and very funny, by the way) but as far as I know, there's no mention to him in lyrics.

Ahh, was playing GTA IV yesterday, and the radio-guy said "I was a DJ last night, and when i put on this song, everyone went... away really, it's a shite song" and guess what! The game decided to play one of the two JV-songs I've put into Independence FM in the game...

Oh well, I actually enjoy his singing.

Haha! :D

Well, I like that kind of music. And it's for me far from the worst example of it. Of course, he's no superstar (in singing at least). But it actually frustrates me that I'm unable to get the CD.

I've got a jazz compilation featuring one track performed by Johnny Claes & His Clay Pigeons, recorded back in 1941.

Was that track within 107% time of the rest of the songs featured in the album?
