Personally I think the polesitter should be allowed to choose what side of the track they start on, with everyone else lining up accordingly.

It's Suzuka 1990 all over again. People are just hating on Seb and Redbull because they're fast.

IMO, race #2 is critical for deciding the driver's world championship title. If Hamilton gets out in front, Vettel should plow into the back of him to prove a point!

I'm not sure if Seb had a say in the decision but it seems like other drivers were complaining about the marbles.

More the reason for Seb to embrace this semi-apparent conspiracy theory against him and ACT like a world champion.

Rain, rain and more rain.

Radar images of the past 12 hours is interesting to say the least and the forecasts are just as interesting to see.

...and why exactly can't the teams use DRS in the rain?

Safety reasons. The significant loss of rear downforce the DRS causes might cause a loss of control which could prove costly. We've already seen what it can do in the dry if you don't tread carefully.

Imagine someone doing what Sutil did in Australia... except with water on the track. And part of the reasoning by the FIA was the increased closing speeds between cars (especially ones on different types of tyres).

EDIT: Or in simple terms what Peter said

So far, everything has dropped neatly into the puzzle.
- HRT's qualified
- Rain is possible
Now, will they try to start the race on inter/wet tyres if it starts raining like it did in Nürburgring 4 years ago? Will we get another red flag? Will Maldonado mess up his pit entry again? Will Rubens hit Rosberg again?

So many questions!

I'm pleasantly surprised that HRT have a DRS, and I'm extremely happy they qualified so easily. Kudos to them, I really need to get some merchandise. :)

Both Ferraris have jumped ahead of Petrov. Rain in 5-10 minutes according to Mercedes but none for next 30 according to Ferrari.

Heidfeld may have had a great start but he's just ruined the battle for the lead, just like Hulkenberg in Brazil, if your going to be good, do it for the entire race, unless Renault engine supply links are helping Red Bull. Another conspiracy theory.

Rain aint coming, this race is now dead.
