Never in recorded history

Looking at how quickly Vettel's catching Alonso, Ferrari will most certainly be protesting this.

Hamilton shouts on the radio that he needs to retire but McLaren sends him back out again. Senna looks to be out though.

Ricciardo destroys Massa's front wing and gets mugged by both Saubers.
He's basically just handed Perez a Ferrari drive

Perez does seem to be very good at having good days at the same time when Massa is having bad ones.

Not sure what Hamilton's whinging about. Think his engineer would like to tell him to man up a bit.

Now the whining starts on the German side. As far as I'm concerned, Hamilton's move was perfectly fine. You only get a penalty when you ignore the blue flags three times and it seems like Hamilton got away from Vettel quick enough.

Vettel should get a penalty for that, passing off the track is illegal, and it needs to be stamped out!

Vettel needs to get a penalty. He powered out of the corner with the intention to pass Jenson with all four wheels off the track! 25 sec penalty is what he needs to get. That puts Sauber's 4th and 5th right??

The stewards have confirmed that they are investigating the issue, so it is possible that Vettel will get a penalty for that (nice touch by Button to inform Vettel that he was being investigated by the stewards). Whilst Vettel's excuse for going off track was that he couldn't see Button and was leaving room for him (that was what it sounded like he said), the fact that he stayed on full throttle is not going to help his cause because it looks like he was intent on passing come what may.

Thing here, looking at the footage, vettel's car was not ahead of Button at any time before he floored it, so hope they give instant penalty, swithc back, time penalty, grid penalty, whatever, give the penalty

This. Vettel floored it behind Button and put his four wheel of the track with the intention of getting an advantage. If Jean-Marie Balestre would be in charge Vettel would get DSQ'ed. He needs to get a 25 sec penalty IMO. Vettel is a douche.

It certainly is looking like Alonso is running away with it. But my god does he deserve it. He is, by far actually, the best driver on the grid in not the best car on the grid.

How is Vettel's pass not illegal? They shouldn't have bothered giving him the second place trophy.

I have to disagree about the car. Ferrari is now one of the best cars, especially in the race.

Still a long way to go... but right now the only driver who looks like a real alternative is Vettel, and I for one don't want to see a third title in a row for him. Webber is probably not fast enough, while Räikkönen and Hamilton are already more than two races behind and don't seem to have the qualifying pace and the luck, respectively, to mount a challenge.
Go home, Bernie Ecclestone!
