Is Captain_Getz12 on holiday or something? I have no response whatsoever from Renault. If no answer is received soon, we may look for other engine suppliers. Arrows is open to hear any offer and will take decision soon after that.

We are happy to announce Arrows will lengthen our partnership with Renault as works team. Once we have our budget updated, we will announce our driver offers (we are interested in some drivers (Laffite and Pironi are definately in the list as we would like French driver).

As a result of Mr Williams' persistent attempts to get his kneecaps batt- sorry, to sign Elio de Angelis, Ferrari will up their bid for him to 700k as well.

We'd also like to announce that our new turbo'd engines will cost 450k per unit this season, and y'all are welcome to enter into negotiations. Before you ask, no you won't have discounts, and no, you won't get preferential treatment. Unless you're French and have blue cars. :P

Edit: Pi and Wizzie, check your PM's :P

Ey, why the hell these French morons get preferential treatment? They are utter monkeys! If Osella had their spending power, we'd crush them!

As an existing Ferrari customer, who previously supported the career of a Ferrari junior driver, Osella expects to be treated with the same respect as certain other customers, otherwise we may have to reconsider our current relationship wiht the Scuderia.

Unfortunately, due to monetary constraints we can only supply cut price engines to one customer, and due to our historical and successful partnership we'd rather it was Ligier that got the deal. That is not to say we don't want to end the relationship with Osella; quite the contrary in fact, we were pleasantly surprised at the professional manner in which your team conducted itself last year and we'd be more than happy to place Mr Alboreto at your team for another season, but if you choose to walk away then I'm afraid that will simply not be possible.

Pi, any chance that the engine supplier quota wallah could be scrapped? Going by my PM's, quite a few teams are very interested in nabbing Ferrari engines and I don't want to unsettle their carefully laid plans. :P

Preferential treatment? Lol nope :P I will take Lotus' bid into consideration though, along with the 9 other bids for customer engines.

Osella, Ferrari will pay a small contribution to Mr Alboreto's salary if you resign with us, but no more than that. If you don't like this proposal, feel free to negotiate with other engine suppliers.

Finally, I would like inform everyone that's bidding for Messrs Villeneuve and de Angelis that I currently have Wizzie straining at the leash, brandishing a baseball bat with foam streaming from his mouth. :P

Since there's no chance Theodore will manage to snag Ferrari engines, we'll officially withdraw our offer and look at other avenues. We'll wait and see what Cosworth do, first and foremost. If their engine and price satisfies us, then hopefully they'll be happy to supply us.

That's exactly why I don't like modern DTM anymore. Why do the cars have to be like this? Can't they use good old GT models, which are much more robust and (imo) look so much better than this flimsy carbon crap?

Also, I've started uploading the 1983 templates for this series in my template thread. I'm sticking to the order in the entry list, so the McLaren MP4/2C is up first. :)

I really miss the good old tobacco sponsorship days. Liveries looked so much better back then (at least the Marlboro-McLaren and the Rothmans-Williams ones did).

It appears we have made a slight miscalculation with our engine costs, so the Renault team will transfer 200k to its engine department. Please confirm this soon so we can finally post our chassis and engine development.

We apologize for the slow pace, but we will be ready soon.

UPDATE: I haven't received manufacturer support in the budget. I posted it in the sponsor bid should I not get the tier 1 sponsors. Can someone confirm this?

Because you can't get manufacturer support if you bid for title sponsors. Also, try and see if anyone's answered your question before you post it.
