DCR will buy one reliability point. It may only be a small increment, but it's all we can do for now.

Balivernes back at Mazzacane Motorsport
Jean-Pierre Balivernes will return to Mazzacane Motorsport at the Canadian GP. Balivernes had won a race for Mazzacane last year, but didn't continue in 1993 due to the financial situation of the team. Instead, Mattias Kjellerup had returned, but was even more off the pace than last year, including one qualifying where he was 21 seconds off the pole time. Due to his weak results, Kjellerup's sponsors dropped him, and José Pablo Mazzacane decided to bring Balivernes back into the #40 car.
The loss of Kjellerup's sponsor money is expected to make Mazzacane Motorsport's financial situation even worse, but José Pablo Mazzacane isn't too concerned about the future of the team. "It is true that we're currently lacking the money for developing the car, but we have the budget to finish the season.", Mazzacane said. "And I know Jean-Pierre is a talented driver, and his results can make up for the loss of spnsorship money."

The #666 now has to prequalify, while the #27 is safe for now. I presume Charles Jericho returns to his seat?

Unless Pasta refuses to return Jan van der Maeyede to Al Smith Racing, I think Algernon Bell is now on the free market as well given that James Davies has recovered from his injury.

I only had the same prequalifiers for the first five rounds to make some sense into the championship table before redetermining them. The reason behind updating them after every round from now on is to avoid fast cars like the Foster's #9 or H.T.M.T.R.T. #76 taking spots there for a long time simply because of being too unlucky to not finish a single race so far. As soon as they score enough points, they are out from the PQ and replaced by slower cars, allowing a more level playing field there.
Upgrades added.

The colours of the logo don't have enough contrast compared to the front wing, rendering it almost invisible. Also if I'm allowed to nitpick, that logo isn't accurate to the era - it wasn't introduced until 1996 . Here's the logo they used in early 90s: http://www.logonica.com/vector/aer-lingus/
