My current favorites are Vettel (yes), Räikkönen and Kobayashi.

I don't dislike any of the current drivers other than Alonso. My all-time least favorites are Jos Verstappen, Louis Chiron and (even though I'm Finnish) JJ Lehto. All of these three for off-track reasons. :(

Let me guess: Verstappen for beating his wife, Lehto for crashing his boat and Chiron for preventing Hellé Nice from returning to motorsport?

Correct. It's ironic that two of them were team mates for a while...

I just found out Hellé Nice story. Didn't knew that had happened. My respect for Louis Chiron just collapsed completely. What a jealous James Hunt.

I always knew I'm not an expert on early years' GP racing but never having heard about such an incident feels rejectful from my part. I'm a little bit ashamed - not nearly as much as Chiron should have been.

Kobayashi - As if you needed me to tell you this
Button - Is a nice guy and had some great races, and I have always like him since he signed a copy of Autosport for me when he was racing in F3
Senna - Was in the points more often then his team mate. It is sad to see him go.
Alonso - Deserved the championship more, raced harder then vettel did.
Kovalainen - Although outraced by Petrov in the end, was a better driver then Petrov.
De La Rosa - What is there not to like about someone who loves F1?
Hülkenberg - Raced the car well, will be nice to see what he does in the Sauber
Raikonnen - I was taking a shite
Petrov - Been a while since a 11th place made me pump my fist in the air
Hamilton - Was a bit whimey at times but had some good racecraft.
Webber - Lost the championship due to the curse of Enoch.
Grrrrrrrrrjjjjjjjjn - Made F1 interesting from time to time, but was a villian for destroying Alonsos hopes.
Rosberg - Was more interesting then Scumacher, was nice hearing him in the pit lane
Glock - Was better then pic
Pic - Nothing noteworthy to pic up
Perez - Might climb next year in the McLaren but did not really like him too much
Ricciardo - Toro Rozzzz
Vergne - zzzzzzzzzzzz, oh hmm?
Maldonado - One moment of glory and spanked hard by Senna the rest of the time
Karthikeyan - Took up a vaulable spot that another reject would have worked harder for
Di Resta - This man is dull and slow....
Massa - Was better at the end but was a complete waste of space next to Alonso.
Schumacher - Was an annoying German who should have hung the keys up years ago.
Vettel - Was a very annoying and whiney German

Because if you look at the raw stats, Senns did finish in the points more often and Senna did retire less times and during when both cars did finish, Senna was placed higher more times during the season then Maldonado.

Only because Maldonado threw away most of his results. But even of the ones that were left, he had enough to beat Senna.

Favourite:

Mika Hakkinen
Kimi Raikkonen
Jenson Button
JP Montoya
Giancarlo Fisichella
Takuma Sato
Johnny Herbert
Gerhard Berger
Luca Badoer (for 1 reason: Europe '99 :( )

Not favourite:

Michael Schumacher (but sometimes I liked him though, when he had a brilliant race)
Christijan Albers
Eddie Irvine
Jacques Villeneuve (in the early days I liked him, but then I realized he was arrogant - only driver who didn't give permission for using his name in racing games- and overrated/overpayed at BAR)

In Italy press is not only against English teams, but against every team or driver who fights with Ferrari for the championship.
When he raced for McLaren, the same Alonso was accused of cheating (by the same that now are seeing him as a god).

I wanted to resurrect this, partly because I wanted to see how my opinion of drivers had changed over a season.

Hülkenberg (+1)
Hamilton (+2) (=)
Vettel (+4)
Grosjean (-1)
Räikkönen (-4)
Alonso (-1)
Rosberg (+14)
Button (-1)
Bianchi (NE)
Ricciardo (+2)
Webber (+5)
Bottas (NE)
van der Garde (NE)
Vergne (+4)
Pic (-4)
Pérez (-2)
Gutiérrez (NE)
Massa (-1)
Sutil (NE)
Chilton(NE)
Maldonado (-8)
di Resta (=)
Kovalainen (-8)

So Rosberg has climbed a lot in my favour, but Maldonado has fallen back down, after impressing me last season.

Seems like a good idea Backmarker, here's an update from my list from approximately this time last year

ROBERT KUBICA TIER
Robert Kubica (=) - FOREVER NUMBER 1

DRIVERS I LIKE TIER
Kevin Magnussen (NE) - I know he's yet to make his debut, but I'm really excited to see him on the grid. I genuinely think he's going to be something special.
Fernando Alonso (+1) - Yeah, he's kind of a douche, but in an endearing way. To me, at least.
Romain Grosjean (+4) - YES! :D He's finally fulfilling his potential!
Jenson Button (-3) - I still really like Jenson, but this has not been a vintage year for him at all.
Max Chilton (NE) - TALENT TALENT TALENT. Yes, I genuinely like Max Chilton, what of it?
Mark Webber (+4) - He didn't win, but he went out on a pretty damn good note.

DRIVERS I KINDA SORTA LIKE TIER
Valterri Bottas (NE) - I wasn't particularly impressed, but then Austin happened.
Jules Bianchi (NE) - Was pretty awesome at the start of the year, but then seemed to get lost in the shuffle, though obviously there's only so much you can do in a Marussia.
Charles Pic (-1) - Still CHARLES PIC.
Giedo van der Garde (NE) - He did pretty good I guess.
Kimi Raikkonen (-6) - I dunno. I kinda just lost interest midway through the year.
Nico Rosberg (+6) - He did pretty good as well I guess.
Sebastian Vettel (+10) - Yeah, I can't argue against him anymore. He really is that good.
Sergio Perez (-8) - Kind of a disappointment really. He didn't start doing things until it was far too late.

DRIVERS I DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT TIER
Heikki Kovalainen (-4) - Meh
Nico Hulkenberg (=) - Meh x2
Pastor Maldonado (=) - whyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Lewis Hamilton (+2) - Meh again.
Paul di Resta (+2) - Also meh.
Adrian Sutil (NE) - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Daniel Ricciardo (-9) - I want to like him but he's soooooo meh.
Jean-Eric Vergne (-3) - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

DRIVERS I'D RATHER NOT SEE ON THE GRID TIER
Felipe Massa (-19) - It's confirmed. He'll never be the same again.
Esteban Gutierrez (NE) - Bleh. I couldn't care less.
Sebastian Vettel wrote:If I was good at losing I wouldn't be in Formula 1.

Jenson Button - Yeah, he's still my favourite driver.
Max Chilton - He's a great guy. Nuff said.
Mark Webber - I'm gonna miss Webber in F1.
Romain Grosjean - Finally everyone's seeing this man's potential.
KImi Raikkonen - He's very much a Marmite (or Vegemite for those Down Under :P ) driver. You can see what side I'm firmly on. :P

Fernando Alonso - I don't care what the history books may say, he's still the best driver on the grid in my opinion.
Nico Hulkenberg - Once again proving that he's one to watch.

Daniel Ricciardo
Valteri Bottas
Nico Rosberg
Lewis Hamilton
Pastor Maldonado - Can't say I like him as much as last year, unfortunately
Giedo Van Der Garde
Jules Bianchi - Not really sold on this guy, unlike most people.
Adrian Sutil
Sergio Perez - Haven't been impressed with his constant overdriving this season. The Perez of 2012 turned up far too late to make an impression.
Charles Pic
Jean-Eric Vergne
Felipe Massa - There's only so much sympathy you can give to a guy.

Paul Di Resta - Bleh
Esteban Gutierrez - The worst driver of the year for me.
Sebastian Vettel - I don't care how many titles he's racked up, I still can't stand the guy nowadays. Go back to 2009-spec Vettel, goddamnit! :x

Shamelessly using Salamander's template ;)

KIMI RAIKKONEN TIER
Kimi Raikkonen - FOREVER NUMBER 1 - It takes guts and balls to really be yourself in a given enviroment, let alone in F1

DRIVERS I LIKE TIER
Sebastian Vettel - Always much to learn in the way he applies himself to his work
Nico Hulkenberg - Seems to be a great guy, and has been an excellent driver ever since I can remember (F3)
Jenson Button - Overall nice guy. Seems honest.
Nico Rosberg - He's good through sheer analitycal thinking. Seems the opposite of drivers who rely on absolute natural talent. Great to see as well.
Lewis Hamilton - Used to be really nice to see how happy he was in F1. Then he turned gangsta and immature. But he's immensely good, which is great too see.
Fernando Alonso - He can be a utter c*nt IMO, but I can't help but admire how driven and motivated and epic he is.

DRIVERS I KINDA SORTA LIKE TIER
Valterri Bottas - Just like him. But don't know much about him.
Heikki Kovalainen - Overall nice guy, even if an average driver
Mark Webber - Sometimes seems nice.. I like his straight-talking attitude.

DRIVERS I DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT TIER
Romain Grosjean - I think he lacks a good head for F1, but he does know how to drive fast [at least when alone at the track]
Kevin Magnussen -
Max Chilton - random pay driver
Jules Bianchi - new guy, with promise though
Charles Pic - is he even a pay driver?
Giedo van der Garde - seems to be a nice guy.. but not F1-level
Adrian Sutil - meh
Daniel Ricciardo - meh
Jean-Eric Vergne - big meh
Felipe Massa - don't like him and he's really past it. but there's no other brazilian on the grid, or even close to it. Without one, F1 here would quickly disappear from the TV
Esteban Gutierrez - not good enough for F1-without-proper-testing
Sergio Perez - A liability to any team.

DRIVERS I'D RATHER NOT SEE ON THE GRID TIER
Paul di Resta - Don't like his attitude
Pastor Maldonado - Don't like his attitude AND he's a liability to any team.

I'm going to copy you all. Template works, so why not?

Kamui Kobayashi - Takuma Sato Tier
Kamui Kobayashi
Takuma Sato

Drivers I Like Tier
Kimi Räikkönen - being a finn..
Giedo van der Garde - because rooting for one of the underdogs is a given, and Giedo is the most awarding of them.
Esteban Gutiérrez - unpopular, but I started to like Esteban towards the end of the season. Has a reputation of a crasher for doing relatively nothing, probably more the flag he carries...I hope he gets another chance.

Drivers I Kinda Sorta Like Tier
Jenson Button - JB is a fair driver on track and quite a funny guy. I like him.
Jean-Éric Vergne - I still don't have any idea why, but I still root for him in my mind.
Romain Grosjean - what's there not to like about the un-crashprone Romain 3.0?
Valtteri Bottas - wasn't totally sold before the season. But ok, he's a good driver.
Charles Pic - I've never really noticed him in F1, but then Mika Salo said he met Charles in an aeroplane and described him as a bit weird and unreadable person in the Interlagos broadcast. I like weird people. Now I like Charles.
Jules Bianchi - Jules is OK. (I seem to kinda sorta like the French.)
Sergio Pérez - he really really puts in effort to make me dislike him, but has been unsuccessful so far.
Mark Webber - after he took his helmet off, I realized I will miss him.
Felipe Massa - not really a fan of the Alonso's Sad Teammate Felipe; let's hope we will see the Fast and Happy Felipe in a Williams next season.
Sebastian Vettel - Seb has his own flaws, but the extreme hate he receives from every F1 forum imaginable makes me root for him, even if very slightly

Drivers I Don't Really Care About Tier
Nico Hülkenberg - I'm not a fan of his but you've got to appreciate the talent
Pastor Maldonado - not in the lowest category because we need one guy like this in F1 solely for the amusement
Daniel Ricciardo - not sold on him.
Fernando Alonso - ok, one of the greats. But I'm not a fan.
Heikki Kovalainen - umm....meh.
Lewis Hamilton - I don't wish success for him, even if I appreciate and even like him a bit, sometimes.
Paul di Resta - I don't like him, but deserves a F1 seat
Nico Rosberg - I don't like him at all (partly since he is closely the polar opposite of his father, a representation of what F1 has become from Keke's times), but deserves his Mercedes

Drivers I'd Rather Not Have In The Grid
Adrian Sutil - he's Nick Heidfeld, except a bit slower and a bit less likable - just takes away a good F1 ride
Max Chilton - Anti-Talent since India is Anti-Talent since India.
