I predict they will launch the 2014 livery by mistake, call it the brand "new" 2015 livery and stick with it for the season just to not admit the original blunder.

I'd like to see that one too, then I could pretend that they're Spyker and actually like them.
You're right. I guess that's what I like about it so much

How come you've managed to get a glimpse of the new McLaren? I guess that you can't really tell us more but, on the nose cone, I presume that would be the nose cone fitted to the MR-03 wind tunnel model that you're referring to?

No, you're thinking of the Autosport forums.
On second thoughts, I'd say Crapwagon surpasses that in insanity. Mind you, at times TrackForum isn't far behind them in insanity.

Really? After everything CoopsII has posted about Raikkonen's sex face, you want to put up the PG-13 banner now?

I suppose that's what makes F1 Rejects the second-best forum on the internet (GT Planet wins overall). It's not like F1 Fanatic, where the only opinion you can have is the popular opinion. Or Saward's blog, which is run by a man who claims to be the only professional journalists in the paddock, but who can't take any criticism no matter how justified. Or Bored of Studies, which is a trollocracy. Or CommanderBond.net, which is run by a cynical and snarky arsehole who wouldn't last five minutes if he was subject to the rules he enforces.

No, it's believed that they have a W05-style nose. The angle of the shot makes it a little hard to see.

Well, the incomplete Marussia that was supposed to be raced this year had a similar tiny dick on the front of the nose. I have to wonder if making the noses like this makes a huge difference in performance. Sure, aerodynamicists will always look for every little advantage, but how significant a difference is this compared to the concept 2015 F1 car posted on WTF1? http://wtf1.co.uk/2015-honda-concept/

Not really - it was more of a T shape running the length of the monocoquem

Force India are launching their livery in an hour. They're in Mexico City, so it's expected that they have done a major deal with the Slims. The VJM08 itself won't appear until the second test.

Love it. Love the cues from the West McLaren liveries, and it's a whole lot less cluttered than last season.

Cars look good. Love the new noses, first ones since the pre "modesty-panel" days that look decent. I just hope they stay the season and not disappear like Mclarens good looking one last year.
Love the Williams livery, looks cleaner this year, even if its the same, a very pretty look. As for FI, did anyone tell them this isn't 1998? Or that they are not McLaren-Mercedes? 0/10 for effort.

The Force India's not majority silver, and it's very close to indisputably the greatest livery of all time; the West McLaren. Knock-offs are generally bad in my book, but they've brought their own character into it, so it's fine - even pretty great - by me.
As for Williams, I didn't think it was possible but they've made an even uglier botch of the Martini livery this time - assuming that is actually the livery they're going with. Has nobody told them how stripes should follow the lines of the car, and not ignore them like they do at the nose, or the back of the engine cover? It looks horribly warped, and that's before I even get to the fact that it's still majority white, the most boring colour in the history of ever. /rant

My first thought when I saw the Force India livery was that it reminded me of the Visteon car Patrick Racing had during the late 90s in CART for some reason.

I quite like the Force India livery. It's really beautiful. Hopefully, the rule "If it's pretty, it goes fast" applies to them this season. Hoping for Nico to finally grab a podium!

I think the Force India livery looks like a tribute to Checo. It's fundamentally a cross between the liveries of the 3 teams he's driven for (Sauber, McLaren, FI). There's definite elements of recent Saubers there!

The problem is the angle you're looking at it from (if you mean the F1 Racing cover image). The side profile looks a lot better, and in fact, better proportioned in my mind than last year's:
Let's save the good news first. That Force India looks pretty damn good. The only things are if the same colors but the white stayed, it'd look better, and the color combo for me isn't the best. It's not as cluttered, that's for sure. Last year, the rear wing was terrible! I look at the nose, and it looks like a 2015 spec nose on the 2014 car. If it is, they found a way to conceal it nicely.
Now, for the Williams. I can see a natural flow in the nose if the sides of the nose are cut off and moved to where the nose tip actually is. In other words, if the nose was modified to look like the Andrea Moda of old, it'd be okay asthetically.
I'm not going to complain for long, as after 3 races and testing I'll be used to it. Hell, after McLaren modified their nose in Sepang last year I came to like it about halfway through the year. I'm already sickened by the complaining from casuals.
One last thing to say is the FIA still messed up the regs. Their goal was to remove the anteater. Well, they ended up creating tiny ones. How hard could it be to make a rule where the maximum angle between the nose tip and the sides connecting the nose with the main plane of the wing is say, 45 degrees, for example, or mandate that the nose could be say, narrower, instead of always insisting the nose before the tip be 300mm wide? I already figured out before the pics of the incomplete Marussia that teams would find a way to incorporate an anteater and benefit. Great job FIA.
