-- Positives --
Sebastian Vettel - even though we all know he is a star, such a one-in-a-million drive is an INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE .

Fernando Alonso - on any other day in F1, he would have been the star of this race.

Sauber-Judd - double point finish helps their chances very much.

Robert Kubica - sensible drive earns Haas very important points.

Bradley Dagnall - internet conspiracy theorists have posted conclusive proof that Chris Dagnall drove in place of his son today.

-- Negatives --
Everyone that is not Sebastian Vettel - it was basically amateur hour in Japan, if you weren't Vettel, you were the REJECT OF THE RACE.

Will Power - total jackass, unfair driving is unacceptable.

Daniil Kwjat - being this bad is bad in itself, but when your teammate redefines greatness, it just becomes unacceptable.

Pierre Gasly - awfully awful, this is where a lack of experience hurts your chances.

Ferrari - two engine failures and an overeager Einar Ármannson is miserable.

-- Positives --
Dave Cassidy - an impressive start placed him in the perfect position to win for the second time this year.

Sergio Pérez - for amazing tyre saving and defending his good position, he earns the INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE award.

Sebastian Vettel - overcame a disappointing Q1 departure to grab vital points.

Jules Bianchi - did what Sebastian Vettel did, only on a smaller scale.

Kevin Magnussen - scores points for the struggling DGN team, this is what the Danish driver was hired for.

-- Negatives --
Davide Valsecchi - another case of "it was only bad because his teammate was so good".

Daniil Kwjat - wasted a perfectly fine pole position, that was just weak.

Valtteri Bottas - lost a ludicrous amount of time behind Bradley Dagnall at the first round of stops, that makes him the REJECT OF THE RACE.

Pastor Maldonado - another big name doing badly, he must be ashamed.

Luiz Razia - no need to throw his car into the next best wall.

I still need to work on my qualifying laps, because it's not good to constantly rely on awesome starts, but at the same time I do really enjoy making up tons of positions like this. Regardless, we made up ground on Vettel, and that's the most important thing.

-- Positives --
Precision-Mercedes - this 1-2 is exactly what they need right now, a good run.

Einar Ármannson - had the best race of his career so far.

Simon Pagenaud - picked his game up when Maldonado was eliminated in turn 1, that is what Sauber pay him to do.

Max Verstappen - the INFINITE IMPROBABILITY DRIVE OF THE RACE was performed by the young Dutchman.

Davide Valsecchi - was in the points when his car gave up on him.

-- Negatives --
Will Power - did not help the arguments for his temporary benching.

Daniel Ricciardo - could have and should have beaten his teammate, especially after that grid penalty.

Kevin Magnussen - you know you had a bad day when Bradley Dagnall makes you look ordinary.

Robert Kubica - the REJECT OF THE RACE lost the race at the first corner as if he was some sort of racing noob.

Brabham-Judd - they truly are the weakest team on the grid right now and being the only lapped cars just confirmed this fact.

2017 Mid-Season Test I & Confirmation Of Entries

Posted: 28 Feb 2015, 17:10
by Klon
Alright, since we are now in a new place, we need to make sure everyone is back and ready to roll. That is why I wish every team owner and every user on the waiting list to confirm that they are still with us and still interested in being part of Alternate Formula One. To make sure that the current team owners have something more sensible than "yeah, I'm still here guyz", we are going to prepare the first mid-season test.

For May 17, the F1 teams will stay at the Akrotiri Bay International Circuit for the first official mid-season tests.

Basically all you have to do is decide how much money you wish to invest in testing new parts: you can choose to buy a five-percent chance at improving your car for €4,000,000, up to seventy-five percent, i.e. €56,000,000 (the first five percent are for free)

A successful upgrade will then involve a RNG roll to determine the added grip - it can go from 20 to 250 grip points.

You can choose to run different drivers than your normal drivers at the test if you wish, they will not cost anything nor pay anything nor will they influence your upgrades in any way, i.e. only serve to test out the skill of new drivers

Just fill this out and we are ready to go.
Team: Well, duh
Drivers: Well, duh²
Investment: Please only use prices rounded up to the full million

Please report back and, if you already own a team, post your testing plans by March 5, 5:00 p.m. CET.
