You already have a two-car entry - the only thing that needs to be resolved is Voeckler's number, which has previously been used by Scuderia Rifiutare. If JeremyMcClean agrees to change his number then it's all OK; now if not, then you have to figure out another number to use.

Other combinations of numbers we'd be interested in otherwise;

5/6, 8/9, 9/10, 33/34.

Any of these available?

Alright, now with my extra money, I'll do the following:

Car improvements
1x Reduce weight = 5000
2x Improve front wing downforce = 4000
1x Improve rear wing downforce = 4000
2x Improve engine power = 4000
3x Improve engine reliability = 3000

Driver improvements
4x Race performance (van der Maeyede) = 4000
3x Race performance (Donnelly) = 3000
1x Overtaking (both drivers) = 2500

Which should come to 29500, leaving me with 450.

5, 8, 9, 10, 33 and 34 are all taken, unfortunately. I could suggest you 21/22, used by Osella, or 23/24, used by Minardi. Another option is to add a zero to the end of both numbers and use 270/280.

Cheers Nuppiz, here's the revised livery, hopefully it works! :D

Body
Wings

As for upgrades, I'll spend the following:

1 Starts Upgrade = 2000CHF
2 Engine Reliability Upgrades = 1000CHF
1 Drive Reliability Upgrade = 1000CHF
1 Engine Torque Upgrade = 1500CHF
2 Engine Power Upgrades = 2000CHF
1 Overtaking Upgrade = 1250CHF

All of which should come in at 8750CHF, leaving me with some small change! The team's name will be switched to Team DAYP Loans Racing for 1992 as well.

Autosport wrote:Dave Wilson Racing confirms sponsorship deal with DAYP Loans

The reigning champions Dave Wilson Racing have confirmed this evening that a title sponsorship deal has been agreed with Default At Your Peril (DAYP) Loans UK Ltd. DAYP Loans was originally founded by Wilson himself prior to his racing career which has proven highly successful, and has allowed him to buy back his former business which will now fund the team through a series of shady, complex off-shore funds and investment schemes. The team will thus be known as Team DAYP Loans Racing for the 1992 season.

DAYP Loans are an established East London-based personal finance company that offers eye-wateringly high interest rates on both short and long term loan packages for the naiive, short-sighted buggers who find themselves in the unfortunate situation of needing cash quick. The firm is noted for it's hard nosed attitude towards those defaulting on their loans, with a vigorous policy of recovering unpaid amounts through the seizing of personal assets. Kids, don't say you've not been warned.

CRASH will buy:

3000 on reliablity
3000 on torque
3000 on engine
3000 on Frank's quali-skill
3000 on Eddie's quali skill

This should leave us with 10,350. Also, are Psycho Soldiers' upgrades inhertied to CRASH? :)

That leaves you at 8,350. And yes, all of Psycho Soldiers' car upgrades are carried over to C.R.A.S.H., and you are also quaranteed to qualify for the first race as both Psycho Soldiers cars were in the top 18 of last season. I take it you mean power by "engine"?

6x Engine reliability
1x Reduce weight
1x Reduce overall drag
1x Reduce front wing drag
1x Reduce rear wing drag
2x Starts (Winton)
4x Reliability (Winton)

Should leave us with 12,650 CHF, right?

The deadline for entry confirmation is 24th February, at which time I'll also confirm the calendar. The season will start soon after that, so there's still plenty of time left in the offseason.

Unless they specifically ask for new liveries, every team uses the 1991 ones because I'm simply too lazy to redo all of them.

With more full time entrants than last year, maybe a grid limit of between 30 to 33 cars would better?

  • The car number is off the center of the nose
  • The Weetabix logos don't quite fit on the rear wing
  • There were still some red parts on the car's body; just paint all of them yellow (I already did that for these screenshots).
  • The body and wings were saved in 256 colour-PNG, and didn't display in the game at all until I converted them to 24-bit BMPs.
