2005 rookie qualifying laps in Melbourne

A lot of Jordan's qualifying laps from that year are on the channel.

I've always wondered what the Japanese commentary was for the Prost/Senna collision was. It's surprisingly underwhelming.

They almost sound less excited than Murray Walker in this clip. I think this is the first time I didn't feel a rush of adrenaline from watching Japanese motorsport commentary!

I was and I suppose my expectations were too high for such a climactic moment. It didn't stand out as much from the other videos in this thread as I thought it would. It is still a good piece of commentary though!

These videos were uploaded just short of five years ago, so they may have been posted here already.

Nice! What a lovely car that Simtek was, and what a shame they just couldn't make the most of it. One of the real "what ifs" of all the reject teams. Most really were finished by the time they packed up. I think Simtek had a lot more to offer had the cards just fallen their way. Same with Onyx actually prior to the team's founders all buggering off.

Grosjeans appearance saved this from being a complete disaster. Ironically, Romain now has a bigger hit than Jacques Villeneuve, Lewis Hamilton and Jaime Alguersuari's musical careers together.
By the way, Formula one is been done before, by Robbie Williams, and that was better, in fact ,that was acceptable.

Look who appeared in a music video? Why it's Jean Pierre Van Rossem, former Onyx team owner, doing what he does best
(this video is actually a joke by a radio station, and yes, it's really him, not a lookalike)

Good old WTF1, they always manage to come up with a gem. It seems F1 Rejects isn't the only place where horribly unsuitable cars are pitted against each other in virtual races. However, instead of communist clunkers with a tendency to roll over simulated via rFactor, some Italians caught wind of an old Top Gear piece where Tony Mason sampled Reliant Robin racing, and thought they'd have a go themselves. I'd never heard of Assetto Corsa before, but it certainly has realistic scenery and cars.

Signori, accendente tuoi motori. It's time to see how a load of dangerously unstable three-wheeled fibreglass crimes against motoring fare around Monza. Given that a Robin corners with all the security and precision of a toddler ice skating for the first time, how will they deal with the Rettifilio?

That's not gone well.

For added hilarity (I think the kids call it "kek" these days), make sure The Liquidator is playing in the background. Some of you will know why.

Another rare Aurora AFX F1 race has made it's way onto youtube in the last month, more rejects than you can throw a papaya at.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBSYQBVG_DY

Opening host is someone called Nick Owen, who would be a British Morning TV regular in the 80s and early 90s, and was one of the few who fell for the pranks that Chris Morris' Brass Eye team made, I believe Nick's was the "GEFAFWISP" campaign.

Race commentator Is Andy Marriott who is now a pitlane reporter on the Fox Sports Tus-cuh-cah broadcasts when they're not getting bombarded by tv commercials.
