Site Author's new addition (with a nod to reject history)

Post by eytl »

I know this forum is not normally the place for personal announcements, but this does have tangential relevance to the history of F1 rejects.

I am pleased to announce the birth of my second child, a daughter named Andrea Law.

Although not deliberately named after Moda, Sassetti, de Cesaris, de Adamich etc, the link to F1 rejectdom is a happy coincidence.

P.S. For those of you who think that somehow I now have more time to work on this website, I presume you must never have had children before! ;) Nevertheless, there is something in the works ...

How cute! She has Perry McCarthy's hairline.

Edit: Wow, I suck. I forgot to congratulate you, Enoch.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Congratulations! Andrea is a beautiful name, too (although with the BrawnGP and Ferrari shirts you're wearing in the pictures it appears that you're not trying very hard to pass on your love for all things rejectful to the next generation...)

Why are you congratulating Jamie's family on the birth of Enoch's kid?

Unless you're implying that they're one in the same, which is probably hilariously untrue.

Probably being the key word.

Anyway, yes, congrats and all that.

Andrea - it can't have been a complete coincidence.

Well, the fact that the name is Andrea shows that, even if the child is a daughter, you tried SO HARD to give him a reject-related name that you managed to come up with the only name that can be used both for male and female

don't deny it

By the way, she looks cute indeed, congratulations ;)

Now that I think of it, "Law" in italian can be literally translated as "Legge"

see, it's another racing connection

Are you implying Enoch should have named her Katherine? Or quite possibly the Italian variant of Katherine?

Will Ferrell was not on fire.

He was, however, when Christopher Walken had a fever, and the only prescription was more cowbell.
