Pastor Maldonado wins for the second time this season, becoming the sixth double winner of the season. Kobayashi finishes second with Maldonado's team mate Senna taking third place. Di Resta's fourth place means that he takes the championship lead again with Hülkenberg just one point behind! Five drivers remain in contention for the title although the Force India drivers have by far the best chance of winning. De la Rosa is the unlucky eleventh finisher for the sixth time this season.

2012 (After eighteen races):

Di Resta 235 (2 wins, 3 2nd, 1 3rd)
Hülkenberg 234 (4 wins, 2 2nd, 2 3rd)

Presumably Grosjean wins the medals one though (I say presumably as I can't definitely remember if the same drivers are eliminated in that one).

Next year's is Perez's to lose as he's in a McLaren and only possibly Grosjean to rival him here and not at all in medals! (No Red Bulls, Ferraris, Mercs, Button or Kimi).

I was mentally just giving this to Perez. Now with McLaren struggling, it may be time for a rethink!!

Very close. Sutil would probably have more points if he wasn't so unlucky.

Bottas wins a chaotic race (only six finishers!) in Malaysia. He now leads the championship level on points with Magnussen who finishes second. Kvyat takes the first podium of his career. Ricciardo's run of terrible luck continues: he would have won the race if not for a failed pit stop.

Bottas 43 (1 win, 1 2nd)
Magnussen 43 (1 win, 1 2nd)
Kvyat 27 (1 3rd)
