I was going to reply with a picture of an Andrea Moda, then I noticed that was an Andrea Moda. Wow, it really does look a great deal faster than it was.

Also, how anyone can like that terrible 2008 Honda livery is beyond me. I like the stripes on the nose and the little red bits, but that "earth" is hideous (and the fact that it was predominantly white at a time where about 2/3rds of the grid was white). I would almost say I liked the 2007 monstrosity better.

I'm stunned Perry was ever on the track long enough to be photographed. I trust the S921 is grinding to a halt in that picture.

That looks like Eau Rouge, so that would be a photo of Perry hanging on for his dear life with a flexing steering column that the team knew about!!

Yes, I'm surprised he's on the racing line! Perhaps he's only going at 20 mph.

If the S921 chassis was run by a competent outfit, it'd have scored a good bunch of points. What a waste.

I quite like the March 821's Rothmans livery.

Minardi's 2002 livery was one of my favourite F1 liveries, even if it was cluttered with sponsors
Image

I quite liked Brawn GP's livery simply because it was clean with not many sponsors
Image

I also liked Tyrrell's 1994 livery as it didn't have many sponsors
Image

Tyrrell's 1993 livery is also one of my favourites as features the iconic Tyrrell blue, white and red with not many sponsors.
Image

I have no idea why, but for some reason I like the infamous BAR "zipper" livery from 1999.

This is a cool spot.

I reckon the new Jim Beam Racing (V8 Supercar) liveries would look awesome on an F1 car.

The Cahier Archive is crediting it as being from the 1992 Belgian GP weekend, so it must be Perry behind the wheel. God knows he'd never get back behind the wheel of the thing again!

It is a beautiful picture of a truly crap car. I guess it shows that a turd can be polished after all :)

I wish Corona step up their involvement in Sauber. It'd be great to see them use a livery similar to Rodolfo Lavin's livery in, 2004 I think.

One of the best, to me, was the 1994 Pacific. A sublime mix of colours that added to the impression that the whole thing was welded together from bits of old washing-machines.

I can't post it here because the owner of the picture thinks it's okay to post stuff on the internet and then claim it's his copyright, but the 1998 Tyrrell 026 is just amazing. The combination of white, grey and black, plus the orange (light green for Takagi) detail and the blue of the 'Brother' logo for some reason look great on it! Here's the link to Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/antsphoto/5102236055/

Pretty sure I've mentioned it before, and it is a bit of an unusual choice, but for some reason I love it! :D

That's why I was hoping that Petronas would sponsor Sauber at the start of 2010 but sadly it didn't happen

It's very unlikely to return whilst Petronas continue sponsoring Mercedes - though it is ironic that Petronas are sponsoring Mercedes when their engine division has a partnership with one of Petronas's rivals (Exxon Mobil) for their fuel and oil supplies.

One of the few things Prost ever got right. Every one of their cars was ridiculously attractive. I've even seen the early plans for a 2002 Prost, which looked just as good.

Prost/Ligier always had the best liveries, but I'm inclined to disagree with the 2002 Prost. Unless it's a different one from the Repsol sponsored one I've seen, then I have to say it looks awful.

Not the Repsol one, although I've seen that, but an earlier designed one. It was basically the same livery, but had a few little red flashes along the bodywork. I can't for the life of me remember where I saw it, one of the many backpages of the vast Internet.

I didn't think the Repsol one looked that bad tbh.

The other ones Ive seen just had repsol sponsorship at the very top of the engine cover whilst the rest of the car was it's usual dark blue with red flashes down the side.

Thanks for the links. I think that the Repsol livery might have worked if it had stuck to the sidepods and did not run all the way down to the nose/front wing.
