So, do we have enough money to buy a new Lola B15/00 for O'Lauchlan?

Should be just enough money for a new Lola B15/00.

In that case, 6 points on reliability and 1 point on acceleration and cornering.

Some more news pieces about IndyCar. After all, we're now approaching the 2nd half of the season. :o

Speed wrote:Roush-Yates to enter a Lola-Ford for the Pocono 500!

Ford, or more specifically it's engine manufacturer Jack Roush, have still problems to sell Ford engines. While their direct American competitor Chevrolet sold a decent amount of engines for this season, Ford is represented by just one driver in the field. Thus, Roush-Yates will enter a Lola B15/00 for the Pocono 500, in order to "advertise" their engine. "We're far from giving up, because we know that our engine is good enough to compete against the likes of Honda and Chevrolet." said Roush to our reporters. Their driver for the next 500-mile race will be former F1RWS driver, American Rusty Gannit. Gannit won last year's Coca Cola 600, but he's still keen to make his mark in open wheel racing. "I'm very motivated to put everything I've got into this racing. For Mr. Roush, for Ford and for me, of course. If life opens you another door, then enter it ASAP." remarked Gannit.

Season finale will become "The Californian 500.000 $ challenge"

IndyCar officials have announced "a special challenge" for this year's season finale at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. After contributions from different sponsors, the organizers have promised a check for 500.000 $, which the winner of the 500-mile race will receive. IndyCar president Walther Williams also encouraged teams to launch one-off entries. "Winning 500K with one shot, how can someone NOT miss that?" asked Williams in a challenging way. However, IndyCar will only allow a maximum of 42 cars on the grid, due to safety reasons. "It would be irresponsible to let 50+ cars run on that fast superspeedway." explained Williams. That doesn't mean that 50+ cars can't enter the weekend. But it will surely turn qualifying into a hot affair.

Sorry, but I miscalculated something. You just need a couple of thousand dollars, before you can get O'Lauchlan a new Lola. :(

Your team has already enough money to buy Miccoli a new car. ;)

ESPN wrote:Roberto Moreno wins second race of the season!

Veteran Roberto Moreno shows that he can still run competetively at an advanced age. The Brazilian won the Segway 200 in a dominant fashion, as he has lapped the entire field. He timed his pitstops pretty well, and due to relatively few cautions, he was able to build that large gap. Moreno's victory also brings him closer to championship leader Dave Anderson, who finished five laps down on 11th position. As the IndyCars travel to Watkins Glen for the "Budweiser Grand Prix", the championship fight appears to be closer than ever.

EDIT: And before I forget, just to clarify the Reject License Criteria, it only applies to drivers who finish in the top 5 in the championship who are also fictional character. In short, it means no Reject License for Moreno and Schumacher based on current standings.

1) After selling your old car, it should be enough for a new Lola.
2) What "Reject License"?

The Reject License is basically the F1RWRS licensing system for allowing drivers to participate in the category. Since the Indy Championship is basically in the same timeline as the F1RWRS, I took the liberty of allowing success here qualify for a Reject License.

ESPN wrote:Claude Speed wins Budweiser Grand Prix!

In spite of a crowded grid, Claude Speed won the Budweiser Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in a dominant fashion. Due to the relative lack of full-course cautions, Speed was able to build a lead of over 20 seconds. The championship frontrunners finished relatively close to each other, thus keeping the championship exciting. The only other noteworthy thing were the fierce battles in the midfield, with a close finish between Dean O'Lauchlan and Dave Anderson.

Championship standing and prize money follow later...or to be honest, someday. Nah, I'm just joking. I'll to put them up as soon as possible.

Is Mastercard Lola even able to spend any money upgrading anything anymore? Don't all our drivers have the lastest spec Lola cars and maxxed out driver stats?
