The only incident of note was Einhrin running into Kwol-Cho at the start, which also held up Torrente.

And once again, Hannesson suffers bad luck, getting stuck in traffic in quali which ruined his grid position. At least Tonu had a solid race.

West Cliff Racing Press Release

West Cliff Racing are sad to announce that they will not be returning to F3RWRS for the 2017 season, and that Peter Port will be leaving motor racing to pursue other interests. We apologise to Laura Wener for not being able to continue into 2017 with her, but hope that her future is as bright as Jordan Davies's future appears to be.

Having watched the replay of the race, I am seriously tempted to cancel the second race, because the Fuji kerbs caused havoc. All the havoc

I want the opinions of everyone first though, so that I don't annoy everyone.

If the race does go ahead though, there will be a few drivers that miss out:
- Hannesson's car was absolutely demolished, after being hit by most of the field. There is no way that IBR would realistically get it ready for race 2 (unless they were to take Pykalisto's car)
- Blanchett will be excluded from racing, after driving into oncoming traffic after a spin and hitting a few cars.
- Cinotti will miss race 2 with a minor concussion, after rolling over several times, copping a whack from Port and hitting the catch fencing. I've yet to determine whether he'll miss further races, but he should be fine (everything was at a surprisingly low speed, but the fence did hit his head).
- Also, Desai, Nicchi and Blanchett all rolled during the race, but continued with little to no damage. Desai and Nicchi went over at turn 3, while Blanchett was at turn 14. And that's not even mentioning everyone who caught air at the chicane...

Basically, either solution is fine for me, this entire season has been a crapshoot for my team. Every weekend it's the same, people crashing into Hannesson, or his car having a technical fault, race after race after race. So it makes no difference to me if it runs or not.

If it does run in the end, Pykalisto will continue and Hannesson will sit it out. In fact, speaking of sitting out, Hannesson is so demoralised by his utterly horrible, luckless season, he has told the team he won't be going to Surfers, and will instead focus on preparing for his switch to AR3.5. I wanted to hire Aimee Gauthier, but she's busy at the Super GP, so I need a little time to find a replacement for this final round. Applications can be considered open, but it's only a one-off mind, I have two drivers under contract for 2017.

With such serious safety concerns, I'm supporting the idea of cancelling the race and moving on directly to the season finale. Another "C" in the standings is a lot less worse than a number of "INJ"s.

As an in-canon reason, you could claim that the F3RWRS cars' aerodynamics were unsuited for the circuit or something.
