Maybe the Indians managed to gain EU nationality

Though I'm not really sure what all this is, as I'm not having any such issues at the moment.

I wasn't getting this problem on my laptop, but lo and behold, when I access the forum from a laptop in college, I've got this problem.

Maybe it's a problem with Internet Explorer, because I wasn't getting this when using Firefox on my own laptop...

I never had this problem on Safari with my iPad. However, one morning, I tried to access all forums and all that came up was a random screen with a bunch of text that was illegible. Might this be the same problem?

I agree, and Phoenix and I have discussed that it would probably have been better to lock the thread. Generally I think the mods are doing a good job in Enoch and my delinquent-parent-absence.

Occasionally when I post, and it takes a while to write everything, like in 'Beat Tilke at his own game' where I make the tracks then post them, the forum logs me out and says 'You need to be logged in in order to reply to a topic.' But I was logged on! Does this happen to any of you?

Yes, if it takes you long to write a post, it happens. You got automatically logged off. (but that's probably because my settings are that i don't get automatically logged in at every visit) Because now i know that, i make sure i copy all of the post before i press the submit-button. But before i knew that, i lost quite a few long posts.
I don't know what i want and i want it now!

Bizarre. But one thing you soon learn at uni (if you haven't already) is to save everything, and regularly. Just in case the uni computers decide to play up...

And store everything offline, just in case someone decides to hack into your personal filespace and delete all your files, including the report on two terms' worth of practical work that has to be handed in the next day. Just for a laugh.

I've seen it happen. Not to me, but the look of horror and resignation on the face of the victim (especially when he got the message that said "ah, I'm just messin' with ya, OK?" Flexo-style) has never left me and likely as not, never will.

You have been warned!
