Rather that protest the legality, Mercedes will laugh at Stefan GP for the sheer pointlessness of their upgrades as the winning strategy has been zero stops for the entire season anyway

Actually, I've changed my mind. We'll protest them as well :P

This is actually now in hindsight sort of comedic as I didn't realize how pointless they were. The components will never see the light of day now that it has been mentioned there isn't any pit stops.

Ferrari have considered this and are still protesting.

Note: Car #2 (Kimi Räikkönen was handed a ten-second penalty for causing an avoidable accident involving Car #18 (Rhys Davies)

-- Positives --
Fernando Alonso - it's about being there when the competition fails and that is what Alonso did to take a well-deserved first place.

Jenson Button - a great and controlled drive, while he could not stop Alonso from winning he held on to what turned into second place.

Kimi Räikkönen after Lap 1 - after an awful first lap, he drove great and got what amounted to a podium in on-track performance.

Sammy Jones - after the first laps Jones was on bloody fire and earned her good position.

Christian Klien - A seventh place and IIDOTR might have secured his drive for the rest of the year.

Negatives:
Kimi Räikkönen before Lap 2 - an amateurish mistake whilst fighting Klien causes Räikkönen to end Davies's race and earn ROTR and a penalty.

Stefan Grand Prix - they did score again but their days of annoying the top teams in 2010 seem over for sure.

Lewis Hamilton - a completely horrible and unneccesary spin cost him points and ruined a chance to solidify his championship lead.

Dave Simpson - apparentely BMW Sauber cannot have two competent drivers at the same time.

Adrian Sutil - a good qualifying amounted to nothing in the race before it was ended by a transmission failure.

Indeed, you do have a point as we are possibly entering into a point of development wars. The fact Zoran is preferring to fine tune the 2010 car over developing the 2011 is troubling for the fate of Stefan GP as next year's car is unlikely to be as competitive as this season's car.

Understandable as to avoid the possibility of car development war between the mid-table teams in particular trying to make wild moves in hopes of possibly winning a race or two.

Note: Car #6 (Jenson Button) was handed a suspended two-race ban and McLaren were fined for €5,000,000 for dangerous driving.

-- Positives --
Daniel Melrose - a dominant win leading to another chance in the championship with only 10 points in it.

Ferrari's Drivers - great job by both to take third and fourth and get closer to taking the WCC lead.

Jacques Villeneuve - the Canadian has so far not been stopped by Stefan losing their edge which earns him IIDOTR today.

Sammy Jones - another good drive for another good set of points.

Nathan McKane - once more "Best Of The Bottom" for as much as that is worth.

Negatives:
Lewis Hamilton - his last races were all not very neat and his lead in the driver's championship is almost gone. He has to pick it up soon.

Kimi Räikkönen - Mercedes really are not pleased with the Finn and his spin (hue!) didn't help him at all.

Jenson Button - having your engine dying on you is not bad but driving around for two laps and earning ROTR with that is.

Nick Heidfeld - his heroic charge sadly came to an end in todays race, he just was not competitive at all and paid the price for it.

Kazuki Nakajima - the Japanese driver was slow and then dishonoured his team and his family with an awful spin.

OK, time to publish my first announcement as the Renault team owner.

Sammy Jones will be kept as one of the official test drivers for 2011, but Romain Grosjean will not continue. I'd like to make separate bids for Jenson Button and Robert Kubica. I'll publish more details later.

JB is still under contract with McLaren, and the Woking squad is not going to lose his talent in short terms.

Note: Car #10 (Robert Kubica) was handed a ten-second penalty for dangerous driving and causing a avoidable accidents involving Car #1 (Daniel Melrose) and Car #2 (Kimi Räikkönen)

-- Positives --
Rhys Davies - a historic win for Williams, their first one since the 2004 Brazilian Grand Prix, and IIDOTR all thanks due to his persistance.

Daniel Melrose - while his start was bad his drive from then on was heroic, he was the only one to break the Rhys Railway.

Kimi Räikkönen - for once he was not significantly slower than Melrose and deserves his points.

Nick Heidfeld - while his team mate was the man of the hour, Heidfeld still performed very well.

Sammy Jones - good job for two pretty points for Renault.

Negatives:
Robert Kubica - he spoiled a great race by acting like a complete tool on the last lap, getting involved with both Mercedes cars.

Stefan Grand Prix - a disappointing race ends Villeneuve's streak of 12 consecutive points finishes.

BMW Sauber - after a reasonably good performance in the last few races they are back to their old, slow, selves.

Jenson Button - spintastic performance leaves the Brit again without points and taking six laps to pass two Super Aguris is fail in itself.

T. Hemo Goblin - ROTR for running into the back of a parked car.

Note: Car #18 (Rhys Davies) has been given a race ban for disregarding blue flags and causing an avoidable accident involving Car #1 (Daniel Melrose).

-- Positives --
Daniel Melrose - to take the lead of the championship with such an impressive win must make Melrose a happy man.

Adrian Sutil - another great job in race two to steal some good points.

Christian Klien - now he has moved the threat of losing his job to his team mate.

Mark Webber - obvious IIDOTR for hauling the Lola-Mercedes to a point.

Lewis Hamilton - a very good fight back up the order in a race with few overtaking moves.

Negatives:
Sebastien Bourdais - 24 seconds behind Vettel is not good news in the Red Bull team battle.

Kazuki Nakajima - not getting past Mark Webber is simply unacceptable for Stefan GP.

Dave Simpson - he has slacked off and now faces significant pressure from the team

Williams - an electrical problem for Heidfeld and ROTR for Davies trying to end Melrose's race (or not get lapped, the jury is still out on it).

T. Hemo Goblin - lost his front wing on the first lap and never did anything of value afterwards.

Two driver changes:
Nico Hülkenberg once again joins Williams, this time to replace Rhys Davies. The chance is so close to 100 % that no RNG is needed.

Super Aguri is looking at replacing Andrea Acuri with Michael Schumacher. I think this needs an RNG:
0-5: Schumacher comes back and tries to add another chapter to his legend
6-100: Schumacher stays in retirement
... 4 ... Schumacher comes out of retirement to join Super Aguri of all teams!

Woo-hoo!
Surely we had a long list of drivers to replace Acuri, but Michael Schumacher was on the top! We are more than happy that such a legend in motorsports believed in our project and decided to join us. Surely, this deal is long term one, as Michael is not planning to return just for a couple of races. At the moment we are preparing his cockpit, while he is testing our simulator. We are very different from Ferrari in many aspects, but what makes us closer is the passion, and this was our weapon to persuade Michael join us. This states clearly our ambition to stay in the sport and develop even further, and our purpose is to fight for podiums next year. In three years time we must be a top team, battling with the others for the championship. Sounds too optimistic, maybe, but hey, we are Super Aguri and we have Super Michael!"

-- Positives --
Robert Kubica - winning in front of the Ferrari fans is a great feeling and Kubica richely deserves it.

Romain Grosjean - awesome drive to get his first leading lap in F1, his first F1 podium and IIDOTR.

Jenson Button - a huge thorn in Vettel's side and just superior to his team mate.

BMW Sauber - extremely competitive and they have less points than they could have had.

Nathan McKane - bad spin shortly before the end but a heroic and great drive before that.

Negatives:
Kimi Räikkönen - 2 points betray the fact that he has apparentely completely given up on F1.

Force India - on a track where their supposedly superior Mercedes power was to pay off, they were simply atrocious; got themselves a well deserved ROTR.

Williams - just slow after expectations were high, given their success at the Fuji circuit.

Sebastién Bourdais - absolutely nowhere before his engine exploded, not a great drive by the Frenchman.

Michael Schumacher - his first race back in F1 was not successful, an incident at the start put him at the back of the field and just as he began to make ground up his Honda engine gave up.

It looks like the Stefan cars are a bit better at straight line speed than we thought, but the cars are not half of what they are on high downforce tracks.

-- Positives --
Kimi Räikkönen - Daniel Melrose might not be pleased about it but Räikkönen drove a flawless race and deserved the win.

Christian Klien - fully deserved IIDOTR for an awesome drive.

Dave Simpson - while his team mate was the star, Simpson still had an impressive run.

Rhys Davies - he was about the only Williams driver this weekend who could get anything done with the car.

Michael Schumacher - admittedly him pushing Takuma Sato off the track on lap 1 was a bit too hard, his drive was impressive and his battle with Vettel was fun to look at.

Negatives:
Force India - once again their engine performance is not acceptable, especially given their 2009 runs at high-speed venues.

Renault - the mighty fell and they fell badly, grabbing ROTR in the process.

Sebastian Vettel - throttle problems may not have been his fault, but his failure to recover afterwards was.

Kazuki Nakajima - his team mate was robbed by a puncture but Nakajima never was even remotely good enough to be robbed, technical failures or not.

T. Hemo Goblin - blocking both of the leaders in the final stages of the race is not too cool, he can be lucky the stewards couldn't be bothered to think of a penalty.

Note: Car #9 (Fernando Alonso) was excluded from the race results for an illegal fuel stop; Ferrari were fined €5.000.000.
Note: Car #26 (Nathan McKane) was excluded from the race results for an illegal fuel stop; HRT were fined €5.000.000. This triggers Nathan McKane's suspended two-race ban.

-- Positives --
Robert Kubica - A good start with no mistakes mean another good win for the Ferrari driver.

Lewis Hamilton - may feel like he should have gotten more out of this race but still drove fairly well.

Sebastién Bourdais - unlike his team mate he never screwed up and deserves P3.

Romain Grosjean - IIDOTR for making no major mistakes and managing his fuel levels properly.

Sammy Jones - was where Grosjean ended up until he ran out of fuel.

Negatives:
Fuel Economy - running out of fuel is a shame, especially on the last laps: shame upon Nakajima, Sutil and Jones for not managing to keep their fuel use in check.

Luca Badoer - even though Alonso and McKane got disqualified, spinning three times over the course of twenty-something laps is a sure-fire ROTR

BMW Sauber - both cars retiring with different issues on the same lap just makes your entire team look bad.

Fernando Alonso - spinning and getting DSQed for refueling illegaly is not neat at all.

Nathan McKane - illegaly refueling and running into Michael Schumacher is outreagously bad, he will have a lot of time to think about his errors today.

Note: Car #5 (Lewis Hamilton) was excluded from the race results for an illegal fuel stop; McLaren were fined €5.000.000.
Note: Car #7 (Sebastian Vettel) was excluded from the race results for an illegal fuel stop; Red Bull were fined €5.000.000.
Note: Car #17 (Karun Chandhok) was excluded from the race results for an illegal fuel stop; Force India were fined €5.000.000.
Note: Williams have been fined €10,000,000 due to their driver in car #18 (Rhys Davies) causing avoidable accidents involving cars #6 (Jenson Button) and #14 (Sammy Jones)
Note: Renault have been fined €500,000 due to their driver in car #14 (Sammy Jones) disregarding blue flags. This incident triggers Sammy Jones's suspended race ban.

-- Positives --
Daniel Melrose - controlled the race and deserved the win, no doubt.

Romain Grosjean - again he makes the most of the Hungarian hijinks and takes 12 valueable points.

Jenson Button - recovered well from an incident with Rhys Davies to get up to P5.

Takuma Sato - IIDOTR for the type of performance the team would have expected from Michael Schumacher.

Mark Webber - despite having just enough fuel to finish the race he got a valueable point for Lola again.

Negatives:
Fuel Economy² - oh man, oh man, oh man.

Fernando Alonso - the spin that cost him P5 really was not needed.

John Bovy - if F1 was a comedy, Bovy would have won the Deutsche Comedypreis today with hilarious spins, battles and other ridiculous moves.

Rhys Davies - the fact that the stewards only did not ban him because he just served a race ban proves more than anything why he is ROTR.

Red Bull, McLaren and Force India - apparentely, these three teams didn't get the notice yesterday about illegaly refueling.

Note: Car #6 (Jenson Button) was handed a suspended race ban for causing an avoidable accident involving car #2 (Kimi Räikkönen)

-- Positives --
Fernando Alonso - did a great job staying out of trouble where his team mate failed and managed to unsettle Vettel to take a great win for Ferrari

Rhys Davies - an opportunistic move from the Australian on the final lap gave him a podium and denied Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton - could have very well won if a tyre hadn't come loose and forced a pitstop on the 2008 World Champion.

Nicolas Prost - earning IIDOTR on your first day on the job is impressive but well deserved for a great debut without flaws.

Michael Schumacher - despite having never driven on Singapore, the legend showed his skill by adapting well to the new circuit.

Negatives:
Sebastian Vettel - spinning twice in a race is bad enough but spinning out of the lead on the last lap after successfully preventing being overtaken at turn 14 is just awful.

Jenson Button - he took out Kimi Räikkönen and spun just as Hamilton came out of the pits behind him and gets benched anyway, quite honestly, that is enough for me to hand out ROTR.

Romain Grosjean - despite having one-and-a-half years worth of F1 experience he looked like an idiot in comparison to Prost today.

Christian Klien - spun twice and stalled the second time around, an atrocious performance after Klien looked so strong in Hungary.

Mizuki Ukawa - this driver is gonna need a lot of sponsorship money to ever drive in F1 again after spinning into the wall in the second lap of his debut.

Gosh, these races go by quickly. Let's hope FIndia catches Williams by the season's end.

Yes, I must admit I am rather putting the hammer down. The thing is I want this series to run parallel to F1RWRS sooner than later, so I am gonna have to keep pushing. Sorry if I leave some people behind

-- Positives --
Fernando Alonso - two wins, maybe his championship dreams are not quite over yet.

Sebastién Bourdais - he ended up only 1.531 seconds off his first win in Formula One.

Nick Heidfeld - annoyed the stars and got some well-deserved points for it

Kazuki Nakajima - well done to the Japanese driver, got 7th with a job well done.

Nathan McKane - his ninth place against all odds in the HRT earns him a sure-fire IIDOTR.

Negatives:
Rhys Davies - not a good run by him despite getting away with another point.

Karun Chandhok - once again Chandhok performed below the car's standards. The odds for his career don't look too hot.

Jacques Villeneuve - normally he is the one making his team mate look silly but Villeneuve today didn't get much of value done.

Lola-Mercedes - they were the slowest cars out there today and so have their failure coming.

Lewis Hamilton - ROTR for seriously risking his WDC chances by not getting past Heidfeld and then smacking into the barrier.
