F1 Rejects Forum Ratings - R11 Belgium

Post by Londoner »

You know the drill

Vettel - 10 - That's game, set and match for the championship now. :|
Webber - 7 - Pretty anonymous for the most part

Alonso - 10 - Super drive today.
Massa - 6 - KERS failure put him at a disadvantage, but he still scored.

Button - 9 - A good weekend all around.
Perez - 4 - Really silly move on Grosjean when he already had the pass completed.

Raikkonen - 5 - Those sodding brakes.
Grosjean - 6 - Scarcely any better, but I wouldn't have been surprised if he wasn't that confident this weekend, considering what happened last year.

Hamilton - 6 - Got on the podium, but did absolutely nothing of note.
Rosberg - 6 - Battle with Webber aside, another anonymous day in the office.

Hulkenberg - 5 - Ran in the points in the early stages, but fell off a cliff after that.
Gutierrez - 4 - Nope, he ain't scoring points this season.

Sutil - 6 - A decent recovery drive.
Di Resta - 4 - After the wonders of qualifying, was absolutely nowhere in the race before Faildonado smacked into him at the Bus Stop

Maldonado - 2 - Managed to hit both Force Indias almost simultaneously. That said, it was a racing incident and he shouldn't have been penalized.
Bottas - 4 - He was in this race?

Ricciardo - 8 - Great recovery drive to the points
Vergne - 4 - The only time I saw him on screen was when the Hulk shoved him onto the kerbs into Les Combes.

Pic - 4 - His race leaked away
VDG - 8 - Yes, we all knew he was gonna drop back eventually. With that in mind, the fact he stayed up there for as long as he did was brilliant.

Bianchi - 4 - Meh
ChiltonCraze - 3 - Did the honourable thing and took a DTP to let Bianchi in front of him. :P

Vettel - 8 - Solid drive, easy win.
Webber - 3 - Had a car to finish, at least, in the second position, but blew it in the start. He was right in retire at the end of this year.

Alonso - 8 - Great drive, 9th to 2nd, but finishing ahead of Mercedes is nothing but your obligation, since Ferrari had by far, the second best car for the race.
Massa - 5 - Kers failure hinders him. At least, finished in the points.

Button - 9 - An outstanding driving today.
Perez - 3 - Blew it again.

Raikkonen - 5 - Brake problems, but fought well against the middle field guys.
Grosjean - 4 - Not a great race for GRSJN.

Hamilton - 6 - The car didn't help, but Okay race. At least, finished ahead of Mark.
Rosberg - 6 - The car didn't help, but Okay race. At least, finished ahead of Mark.

Hulkenberg - 7 - Good start, but fade away. Wasn't your fault, Sauber was crap.
Gutierrez - 5 - At least, he tried to defend your position very hard.

Sutil - 7 - Fought with a lot of people and got some points. Well
Di Resta - 4 - Bad start + unlucky.

Maldonado - 4 - Crashed with Force India cars, but was decent.
Bottas - 4 - Anonymous.

Ricciardo - 9 - Very good recovery and got a well deserved point.
Vergne - 7 - Good recovery, but finished behind Ricciardo.

Pic - 4 - A weekend to forget.
Van der Garde - 10 - By far, your best race of this season. Put Pic in your pocket.

Bianchi - 6 - Average.
Chilton - 4 - Below average.
Waiting for Lotus hiring Johnny Cecotto jr.

Vettel: 7 Lead all but 2 laps. Easy victory.
Webber: 7 Bad start followed up by a decent fight with Rosberg. Looks like he gave up in the last 10 laps though.
Red Bull: 7 For the winning team they didnt seem to put on their best, especially considering Webber's performance.

Alonso: 8 Strong run from 9th up to 2nd. Bad quali cost him the chance at victory though.
Massa: 6 Waddling about in the lower points.
Ferrari 7 Bad qualifying again costs them dearly in the championship battle. Massa still not showing why he should be in the second spot next year.

Rosberg: 7 Held off Webber the whole race for 4th.
Hamilton: 8 Kept in the podium spots all race. Just seemed pretty tame compared to the pace of Vettel and Alonso.
Mercedes: 8 Got a good points bag today, it just wont be enough to catch Red Bull at this rate.

Raikkonen: 7 Looked like he was gonna finish pretty well until his brakes failed him.
Grosjean: 7 Was able to get ahead of the 10th place scramble before it got hairy.
Lotus: 7 Technical issues hold them back.

Button: 9 By far the best showing by Mclaren all season. Late pit strategy cost him a podium.
Perez: 6 Got caught in the big battle for 10th. Lost the place to Riccardo at the last minute.
Mclaren: 8 Now 5th in constructors. Pit strategy did more harm than good.

Di Resta: 7 Looked to be holding onto a mid-point spot before El Pastor took him out.
Sutil: 8 Was able to salvage the weekend for the team. May be a bit too aggressive.
Force India: 8 Still showing the will to fight for 5th in constructors.

Riccardo: 7 Snuck into 10th in the last few laps. Was largely unknown otherwise.
Vergne: 6 Got more screentime than his teammate. Performance was pretty average.
Toro Rosso: 6 Were anonymous this weekend. Still cant tell who is the better driver to be honest.

Hulkenberg: 6 Pretty good run at the start, but lost it in the big battle for 10th.
Gutierrez: 6 Same as teammate. Kudos for going on full attack with the Pastor.
Sauber: 6 For a team that was considering not showing up at all this is a fair result. Hulkenberg shows he has some steam left.

Maldonado: 5 Got a fair opening by passing both Marussias. Tried to take out both Force Indias in one move.
Bottas: 5 Did I even see him during the race?
Williams: 5 With Sauber in nowheresburg. Pastor back to his old ways.

Pic: 3 Started last, DNFed first, finished last. By far the worst of the backmarkers this weekend.
Van Der Garde: 8 Held on in the midfield much better than the rest of his tier. A for effort!
Caterham: 6 Drivers were both the high and low points of the backmarkers. VDG slips past Maldonado in the end.

Bianchi: 4 Sank like a stone on the opening lap.
Chilton: 3 Same as teammate. Was a bit of a problemchild when being lapped according to the stewards (Damn TV directors...)
Marussia: 4 Good qualifying melted away in just 2 minutes.

Sebastian Vettel - 9 - Faultless victory.
Mark Webber - 6 - A poor start marred Webber's final Belgian Grand Prix. Solid recovery, though finished fifth in a car capable of challenging for a podium.
Red Bull - 10 - Remain on the ascent, rather irritatingly.

Fernando Alondo - 10 - One of the better drives of his career. Stunning leap from 9th to 2nd, and salvages his championship hopes to a certain extent.
Felipe Massa - 6 - Held off Grosjean for 6 points. Not an offensive performance, but Massa will find himself hard-pressed to keep his seat should he continue to underperform.
Ferrari - 8 - Partial recovery from the performance woes of the summer.

Jenson Button - 9 - An otherwise flawless drive marred only by a strategy error. Still netted a very valuable 8 points for the team.
Sergio Perez - 5 - Clumsy, if harmless, mistakes cost Checo a points-scoring finish.
McLaren - 8 - Finally usurp Force India from 5th place on the championship standings.

Kimi Raikkonen - 6 - Seemed to be off the pace even before his catastrophic brake failure. Reduced the 4th in the championship after today's calamities.
Romain Grosjean - 6 - Car was off the pace, though managed to salvage 4 points out of the weekend.
Lotus - 4 - Championship prospects are becoming increasingly unlikely.

Lewis Hamilton - 8 - Solid, if unspectacular drive to 3rd on the podium and the championship standings.
Nico Rosberg - 7 - Solid drive to net 12 points for the team.
Mercedes - 5 - Relative performance seems to have decreased over the break.

Nico Hulkenberg - 6 - Finished ahead of his teammate. No points.
Esteban Gutierrez - 5 - Finished behind his teammate. No points.
Sauber - 4 - Woeful form continues amidst alarming financial circumstances.

Paul di Resta - 5 - Faded quickly from 5th before falling victim to Maldonado's acrobatics.
Adrian Sutil - 6 - Salvaged 2 points.
Force India - 4 - Relative performance has faded significantly, though 6th in the championship seems secure at the very least.

Pastor Maldonado - 1 - Smashed di Resta off the track. Finished behind a Caterham.
Valterri Bottas - 6 - Kept his nose clean in an anonymous drive to 15th
Williams - 3 - I'm depressed.

Daniel Ricciardo - 8 - Very solid drive from 17th to 10th.
Jean-Eric Vergne - 6 - 2 places behind his teammate in 12th. Relatively anonymous.
Scuderia Toro Rosso - 5 - Ahead of Sauber in the championship standings. Still fairly anonymous.

Charles Pic - 4 - Outqualified and outpaced by the flying Dutchman until he retired with an oil leak.
Giedo Van der Garde - 8 - Qualifying heroics and relatively solid race pace sees him at the head of the backmarkers.
Caterham - 5 - Relative performance continues to improve. May possibly overtake Marussia for 10th in the standings should the pace continue to improve.

Jules Bianchi - 5 - Second to last.
Max Chilton - 4 - Last.
Marussia - 4 - Nothing noteworthy.

Finger Boy: 9. Faultless, really.
Wibbah: 6. Poor start again. Finished 5th when he should have been higher.
Red Bull: 10. Good weekend from them.

A Certain Spanish: 10. Awesome drive to second. Missed out on winning Spa again.
Massa: 6. Held off Grrrrjjjjnnnn, but a rather average race.
Maranello: 7. Not the best weekend; getting better.

Jetton: 10. Would have finished in 3rd without a strategy error.
Checo: Time for David Hobbs to give his opinion (see China 2013)
McLaren: 7. They have overtaken FI. Decent work over the summer.

Iceman: 5. Going off pace and roasted his brakes well beyond roasted.
Grrrrjjjjnnnn: 6. I don't know what to say about him. It was decent for the first time he completed at least one racing lap at Spa.
Enstone: 3. Bad weekend.

Hamilton: 6. On the podium, thanks to Bunson's strategy error.
Britney: 6. Got 4th. Good for him.
Merc: 6. Not as quick by the looks of things. Should be better at Monza.

The Incredible Hulk: 6. Ran in the points after blazing start; nowhere since.
Guiterrez Squared: 4. Continues to disappoint.
Sauber: 4. Dismal pace, a dismal driver, and dismal financial problems. Their Swiss Bank Account is going dry...

Glass of Milk: 5. Spectacular qualy, only to be rammed by the Reverend.
Sutil: 6. Got points, but a complete nuisance on track.
A Force of India: 4. The tyres are not helping. Quite honestly, I didn't see a need for the tyres to change. Not that I'm a FI fanboy, anyway.

The Reverend: 0. ARGH!
Bottas: 5. Anonymous, but kept it clean. It counted for good things, really.
Grovey: 3. Man, why bother?

JEV: 5. Anonymous. Got 12th anyway.
Ricciardo: 7. That Red Bull deal is all but signed now...
Toro Rosso: 6. Being ahead of Sauber this year isn't noteworthy.

Pic: 2. Sucked all weekend.
GiedoVanDerGod: 8. Held on for much longer than expected. Great result to finish ahead of the Reverend.
Caterham: 6. Ahead of Marussia; could get past for 10th.

Bianchi: 4. Slow.
Maxiboy: 3. Slower.
Marussia: 2. Slower than slow.
Felipe Baby, Stay Cool
