The dream of using the clubs and marquees of professional sports to draw as-to-that-point untapped crowds to motorsport is not a new one. From 2008 to 2010, the Superleague Formula attempted to pull off that marketing success. However, their investments went awry and the series (and interest in it) dried up.
In early 2016, working with the Best In The World brand on new concepts, Kay Lon thought up on digging out the idea and noted the major problem with the old Superleague Formula: if people want to watch football teams go against each other, they will watch football. Therefore, the decision was made to open the "new Superleague" to teams from all sports.

Now with that lovely piece of backstory out of the way, let's get down to business.
As explained above, this is the RWRS Canon's modern version of the Superleague Formula, only that it is open for clubs from all sports.

Aside from what is mentioned in the formula, there are a few limitations on clubs and drivers: namely only one sport per club (e.g. Real Madrid can be either entered as football, basketball or handball team). In cases where there are questions about that rule, I'll decide on a case-to-case basis. As far as drivers go: you can pick anyone (real life or fictional) who is in shape to drive an open-wheeler car. With the restrictions for double dutying coming in at most serieses for 2017, I'd be very careful about using drivers who work in other series. Since, at least for the first year, all drivers will (like in RTSS) start on equal stats, this series is ideal for drivers whom have not turned out good anywhere or for rookies.
Alright, that's about it. If you got any questions, just ask away. There are 13 entries, i.e. 26 clubs.
