For the 2017 season, we will use the AR ST top 20 points system : 50 - 45 - 40 - 36 - 32 - 28 - 25 - 22 - 20 - 18 - 16 - 14 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
Pole position : 5 points
Fastest lap : 3 points
The bonus points for the most positions gained in race won't be used.

The races will be extended to 45 minutes.
2017 Calendar available here : http://formularejects.com/wiki/2017_AutoReject_GTi_season#Championship_races

Pre-season tests should come soon, maybe next week-end. We will be testing during two days on the National layout of the Nevers Magny Cours track. These tests will feature one free practice session, a qualifying session, and a race session. After the tests, a review on the drivers may appear. Finally, once the liveries stuff is sorted out, we will be ready to start the season.

PS : Sorry go_rubens, haven't had time to work on your livery yet.

2017 AutoReject GTi Round of Australia - Bathurst
Race results.

Positive points :
Michela Martin : Nice way to start the season.
Pedro Renales : Acquired and secured the second place when there was only 2 minutes to go in the race.
Kaitlyn Harris : Quiet, but solid seventh place.
Jonas Soderstrom : Traffic didn't help him, but he solderied on after a not-so-great quali session.

Negative points :
The track / game physics : Some drivers (Voeckler, Tadayoshi, Dileita...) flipped over their car at least once when hitting the kerb apex at T1.
Shane Atkinson : Brakes too late, car understeers, ends up in the wall, retires after a terrible weekend. On the positive side, it can only get better on the next round.

2017 AutoReject GTi Round of the United Kingdom - Brands Hatch
Race Results

Positive points :
Cecep Sugiharto and Pedro Renales : Did what was expected of them, running at the front.
James Turner : Nice race pace to catch 3rd place.
Harry Austin : Decent showing from the newcomer, even if a better result could have been possible.

Negative points :
Manuarii Vahirua : Was absolutely nowhere in this race.
Lee Honmei : Starts 11th, but loses 8 places in the first 5 laps, and doesn't get them back.

2017 AutoReject GTi Round of France - Magny Cours National
Race Results

Penalty standings :
Rob Lomas Jr : 4 points

Rob Lomas Jr has been given 4 points penalty on his licence for colliding in the back of Jonas Soderstrom's car. Soderstrom was forced to go wide at Lycée and lost his position to Lomas. A 5 seconds penalty was given to Rob Lomas Jr. Michela Martin, Jonas Soderstrom and Kaitlyn Harris move up to 5th, 6th and 7th. Lomas is classified 8th.

Positive points :
James Turner : The only one able to follow Sugiharto today, but not only that, he managed to pressure him into making a mistake at Adelaide. He took the lead and kept it to the checkered flag.

Matsuo Tadayoshi : He messed up on his qualifying session, but went from last to 13th in the race.

Negative points :
Leon de Teodoro : Vanished after the 15th lap.

Rob Lomas Jr : How to f*** up a great result with an avoidable collision.

EDIT :
We are now on the first tier of the season. Which means RNG TIME. You can ask for your drivers to get a RNG stats boost. The range will go from 0.01 to 1.00 race skill point. Note : You have to ask for the RNG to be run. If nothing is said, I'll assume you don't want it. I'll also recalculate the stats using the same system as last year.

FMecha wrote:Sugiharto will also apply for the RNG improvement :)

I'm afraid he can't do that. His stats are currently maxed out. He has 100 as "Speed", which is the maximum. In other words, Sugiharto has reached his peak in the series and cannot progress anymore speed wise. On the other hand, I can lower everyone's racing ability by 10. But that's something I would want to avoid until next year to simulate some changes done to the cars or some thing of the same kind.

RNG TIME.

Timothée Voeckler's bonus :
RNG says : 46!
0,46 points added to his racing stats.

Manuarii Vahirua's bonus :
RNG says : 83!
0,83 points added to his racing stats.

Jonas Soderstrom's bonus :
RNG says : 76!
0,76 points added to his racing stats.

Zaituni Dileita's bonus :
RNG says : 98!!!
0,98 points added to her racing stats. Currently the highest RNG, and it will be hard to beat it.

Pedro Renales' bonus :
RNG says : 3!
0,03 points added to his racing stats. Barely an improvement.

James Turner's bonus :
RNG says : 65!
0,65 points added to his racing stats.

Michela Martin's bonus :
RNG says : 14!
0,14 points added to her racing stats.

Harry Austin's bonus :
RNG says : 38!
0.38 points added to his racing stats.

Jack Connolly's bonus :
RNG says : 49!
0,49 points added to his racing stats.

Yup, but you would be fifth on the waiting list, so I guess getting a car for 2018 is out of the question.

Yup. Here we go. RNG TIEM last part :

Daisuke Yanagawa's bonus :
RNG says : 89!
0.89 points added to his racing stats.

Sorry about the waiting time for my replies. All the drivers' stats were recalculated. I just need to edit the files so everything is then done.

2017 AutoReject GTi Round of Austria - Red Bull Ring
Race Results
Race results are considered unofficial at the moment.

A few incidents will be reviewed by the stewards later.
- Zaituni Dileita and Cecep Sugiharto
- Jack Connolly vs Kailtyn Harris
- Gabriella Scopelli vs Shane Atkinson
- Benjamin Kruse vs Jack Connolly
- Shane Atkinson vs Zaituni Dileita

Positive points :
Romain Hadamard : Where did that come from ? How did it happen ? We will never know. It could very well be a one hit wonder, but we will let him enjoy this moment.

Elisa Jama Yattae : A top 10 starting from 16th.

Negative points :
Kaitlyn Harris : Overdrove like mad in the first three races when the expectations must have been low, nowhere to be seen today.

Cecep Sugiharto : Terrible weekend from start to finish.

Manuarii Vahirua : Good qualifying effort counted for nothing.

Round 4 race results are now considered official. The championship standings should be updated this week.

Incidents review :
Cecep Sugiharto : 4 penalty points (Driving into the back of Zaituni Dileita's car) Turn 2 - Lap 1
Kaitlyn Harris : 4 penalty points (Driving into the back of Jack Connolly's car.) Turn 3 - Lap 3
Zaituni Dileita : 10 penalty points (Major collision in the back of Shane Atkinson's car, forcing the latter to almost spun, gained a position in the process. Almost looked like that collision was deliberate) Turn 3 -Lap 10

Gabriela Scopelli vs Shane Atkinson : No action taken (There's no incident to speak about, wtf rfactor?)
Benjamin Kruse vs Jack Connolly : No action taken (Nothing worthy of penalty points or a warning)

Penalty standings :
Zaituni DIleita : 10 points (Austria : 10)
Cecep Sugiharto : 4 points (Austria : 4)
Kaitlyn Harris : 4 points (Austria : 4)
Rob Lomas Jr : 4 points (France : 4)

2017 AutoReject GTi Round of Canada - Road Gatineau
Race Results, but they are not official yet.

What a race, WHAT A RACE ! We may have seen the beginning of a rivalry between Manuarii Vahirua and Rob Lomas Jr. Because of this. This incident is under close review by the stewards.

Positive points :
Pedro Renales : Led only two laps, but the most important ones. Won this race with his brain while others were losing their.

Manuarii Vahirua and Rob Lomas Jr : For making this race very exciting. Many passes, many lead changes.

Timothée Voeckler : Had a nice pace, and a very nice race.

Negative points :
Rob Lomas Jr : For that collision.

Cecep Sugiharto : Dude, where were you ?

Michela Martin ; A top 10 but you're much better than this. Especially when you started on the first row.

Zaituni Dileita : Well, that wasn't good at all.

It was really bad because I think I could've won here had I not done it, but then I don't think I've been able to have a chance to win before so I'm very happy about that, at least.

Also, I think Rob needs to try and calm down, he hit me too in France and you shouldn't be driving like that. It's not very nice.

Does listening to a dog licking its balls get you excited?
