Rejects of Gran Turismo

Post by MinardiFan95 »

After an extended break, the Rejects of Gran Turismo series returns for another season of hot-lap challenges. You can use any of the main Gran Turismo games for this series - it will alternate between combined challenges (for tracks featured in all GT games) and split challenges (for tracks featured in only a few games).

The current F1 points system will be used for the overall "Gran Turismo World Championship" series and the series for each game.

So, if I, let's say have GT5, I go on a lap around Special Stage Route 5 on any Skyline non-tuned model and then I e-mail you the time? Or does it have to be in video file as a proof?

For GT1, do the Semi-Racing tires count as sports tires, or do I have to use Normal tires? :?

Just email the time, though it could be a good idea to save the replay of the best lap just in case.

It's been a while since I've played GT1 so I'm not too sure about this, but I think that the normal tyres would be equivalent to the sports tyres in later games.

Sorry for the dumb question but…

Hey, good to see this back! :)

I have gotten better at GT since the last time the series ran, so I'll hopefully have a better shot of getting some solid points.

When I find a car I'll post it to make sure it's all legit.

ROTR has to go to Nuppiz, poor car choice there. Biscione gets IIDOTR since I don't even know how anyone can get down to 1:21!

Here's the funny thing; I later swapped cars, went to the Mine's R32 and set a 1:20.135, then forgot to mail it in

ROTR: Lomas, had the equipment to be Top 3 but was miles off the pace
IIDOTR: Klon, was on the pace of some of the GT-Rs despite driving a soccer-mom saloon.
