Okay, that's absolutely fine with me.

It's come to my attention that Derek Warwick is free, so after De Cesaris helps us out the deals will be revised as follows:

We offer John Nielsen a total of four races for 75k. After he's done his shift, we'll offer Warwick the rest of the season for 125k.

Life will offer Niki Lauda a chance at a comeback. We will pay him 1.5 million for the rest of the season! He will take Morbidelli's spot.

If that's successful, Coloni will sack Jeff Gordon and offer Morbidelli the seat, at his current pay-rate at Life.

Ok, all three drivers are happy with your offers

OK, seeing as Niki has declined, let's instead give the same offer to Alan Jones.

Also, in an incredibly huge roll of the dice, Coloni want to sack both drivers, and replace them with Mario Andretti and tarmac specialist Didier Auriol. Both will be paid 1.5 million for their services for the rest of the year. But we're only getting rid of our old drivers if we can bring in these two lads. If we secure one but not the other, Jeff Gordon will be the one to go before Iwaki.

Indeed. If Colin McRae can be fast in an F1 test (Jordan '96), then why not a driver famed for being a sealed surface specialist? :D

Pretty miffed at this, as mentioned already Mario Andretti was still actively racing in IndyCar in 1991 and beyond.

Right then, time to go a tad more conventional and attempt to bring some drivers exiled after 1990 into the sport.

Life offers 1M to Alessandro Nannini to do the rest of the season in place of Gianni Morbidelli (who will be offered the TD position at his current pay-rate in place of Chiesa), while Coloni offers 1M to Michele Alboreto to replace Ikawi...Iwaki...whatever his name is.

Dallara would like to offer 250k to McLaren to borrow Damon Hill for the 4 races Brundle is absent

If this falls through, we will promote Eric Bernard for the 4 races instead.

We would also like to run a large reliability upgrade to ensure this never happens again.
