Quick question about reject eligibility...
I know the rules about points needed to avoid rejectdom and I know if someone attempts to qualify for a gp but never starts they are eligible but what about someone who has only been a formal test driver but never pre-qualifed/qualified?
Murray - "First man out is Marques in the Arrows. Of course he's going out early to generate some media interest"
Martin - "I'm sure he would generate some interest if he went out in the Arrows because Marques drives for Minardi"

I don't think it applies. I suppose you can only be a reject if you actually participate in a race weekend.

Can we have this implemented, so Chanoch Nissany can finally have a profile?

Did he ever actually take a Ferrari for a spin?
Re: Quick question about reject eligibility...
But Sebastien Loeb could...
Paradoxic..the best rally driver ever having F1 not-even-reject status.

Well, not quite ... the criteria we've sort of used is someone who was entered with the intention of participating in the race itself. Which is why e.g. Jorge de Bagration and Ricardo Londono are included even though they never took part in an official practice session, and Masami Kuwashima is included even though he only participated on a Saturday.
But the rash of third drivers in the last decade who took part as testers without there ever being an intention for them to take part in qualifying or the race itself, no, they don't get in.
Although gee it's tempting to broaden the criteria to include Chanoch Nissany.

You could say that anyone who test-drove and didn't make a lap faster than the slowest qualifier in any race...
