--Attention--

While the forum was down, my laptop encountered a serious problem which after many hoursof trying, the only solution is to reset the laptop. One of the syndrome was the harddisk could only active for 10 minutes before turned off completly. Servicer said this is a software issue that damage the system. While I managed to back-up some crucia Rejects-1 data (vehicles, some circuits, driver files), the f1c installation is not backed-up due to enourmous number of files (+25000!) and will need re-download many parts to make Rejects-1 working again, so I declared this series is on the hiatus for a while while I sorted things

Lotto Racing leaving R-1
Lotto has announced that they're pulling the plug on they're Rejects-1 team. Team principal, Carlos Rocha, has said "It's a very sad end to the campaing in this series. When we joined last year, we we're received with promises of better safety. After Maroon got injured, we thought of quitting at that time, but we didn't, for Cam, even if he annouced he wouldn't race anymore." A sad Alik Mori said "It's over when it's over. The guys at Lotto are great guys, and didn't deserve this faith." The main reasons that team are quitting we're announced today, with van Rossem saying that, even though his team have one of the best drivers of the field and one of the best cars, they still can't even fight for podiums. van Rossem said clearly that there was something fishy in the series coming into 1996, and he said that he thinks the times are adultered so the more commercial drivers get bettter cars, and therefore, better results.

Just divide the money throught all the teams.

Budgets updated, while if I share evenly all Lotto's money, each team would get 212 AUD, but I'll get that sorted later

Championship standings

With 2 races to go and 44 points, only top 4 can still snatch the title.

Some conditions:
If at the next race all 4 contenders retired, Vic Sunset will snatch the title.
If Vic Sunset retires at both next races:
Julio Vaca will need a win and a 2nd place.
Archibald March will need 2 wins.
Bernard Leclercq will need 2 wins.

Now about team's and chassis' title:
Team
Image

With a possible of 74 points to snatch, team's title is still wide open while Blokkmonsta has already clinched the one-car team title since long, and could even win the overall team title.

Chassis
Image

Chassis points are scored from the best two chassis each race, but with storms and winds, some chassis left out with 1 car only, thus enabling the "one-car chassis" championship. With Lotto withdrewing, Lambo is sure to take that. Overall, 3 chassis are still possible to snatch the title, with also 74 points left to snatch.

Well due to time constraints I don't think I will able to participate in 1997, so maybe it's time to close down the good time I've had here

1994: Worst team on the field ( I think)
1995: Three damn wins. THREE
1996: Back to 1994 form albeit with some better results

1 engine reliability, and 1 driver upgrade for both

Sentul's reputation in Rejects-1 as classic remains, as the mixed field from quali raced, things went "WTH" all the way, and Patrick Boon wins

Team Championship

Congratulations to Rob Lomas Racing to win the team's title, while Blokkmonsta Racing for 3 years in a row wins the single-car team's championship. On the right is the keep up cost

Chassis Championship

Onyx regains the chassis title again, while Lambo wins the one-car chassis championship with ease

I will post the thread in 1997 in next few days
