2017-18 AutoReject Nations - He's only gone and finished it!

This is the AutoRejects Nations Championship, a new winter series where the best drivers across the planet fight it out around the globe. Basically, it's like A1GP but more interesting.

CAR

We will be using the Lola B05/52. This is to save me work since some nation liveries already exist. It's also a pretty cool car.

CALENDAR

There will be seven rounds. The first six are on different continents, whilst the seventh (a double-header round) will be voted for by managers.

The provisional calendar goes as such:

1. Round of Oceania, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, Australia
2. Round of Asia, Fuji Speedway, Japan
3. Round of Africa, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, South Africa
4. Round of Europe, Paris Street Circuit, France
5. Round of North America, Laguna Seca, USA
6. Round of South America, Sao Paulo Indy Circuit, Brazil
7. Final Round, Potrero de los Funes, Argentina

RACE FORMAT

The entry list for each round will be capped at 40 cars.

FULL-TIME ENTRIES: There can be a maximum of 20 full-time entries, all 1-car teams.

PART-TIME ENTRIES: There can be a maximum of 20 part-time entries per round. Each part-time entry can enter a maximum of three rounds.This is to allow the lesser-represented nations to have a few chances. Part-time entries fill the PQ pool.

POINTS: 25-20-16-14-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, with 3 for pole and 2 for fastest lap.

AVAILABLE COUNTRIES

Full-time entries must be selected from an official list of nations. This list will consist of countries who are the best represented with regards to drivers. Team managers who wish to have a full-time entry must select three nations, and the nation they run will be fairly selected out of those particular three.

Part-time entries may be any nation, but please be sensible and reasonable with your selections. Full-time team managers may enter ONE part-time nation; members without a full-time team may run two part-time entries.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Driver requirements for full-time entries: must have considerable experience in anything from F1RWRS, F2RWRS, AR3.5, F1RICS and Alt-F1. Must be fictional.

Driver requirements for part-time entries: must be fictional and have completed a season in any recognised canon championship, and must be from a recognised nation (Tropico will be included!). More experienced drivers will be favoured. I reserve the right to deny any entries deemed stupid.

You MUST have permission from a driver's DEC holder to use them, so people don't kick off like they did with the F1RNC.

Although I said I'd RNG who gets what, I've worked out a way for everyone who's signed up so far to get one of their three options (except myself, but I'll take whatever's left over!)

So, what I'll do is allocate those full-time teams now and hope a small flurry of interest will help fill the remaining countries. I'll draw the teams with two-car entries later.

In the interest of fairness, I'm going to remove the choice to claim a two car team, and say that all teams will be one-car only. If you still have plans to run more than one driver, you can; there will be no separate drivers' championship so worrying about that won't be a factor. You can enter a maximum of three drivers per nation.

This means that all twenty full-time teams will be in each race. Part-time teams will fill the pre-qualifying draw; there will be a maximum of 20 part-time entries per racewith the fastest eight from the PQ session making the grid. Part-time nations will still be able to enter a maximum of three races.

We have Russia, South Africa and Switzerland available to take. Once these have been claimed, I'll open the driver-signing process up as well as the entry lists for part-time teams to take (owners of full-time teams get one part time nation, people without get two). I strongly encourage you to pick nations with actual decent drivers so we have a competitive field.
