Is Hiroto Tojo retired from F1RWRS? If not, Super Hanamura Intensity Team is interested in the services of Ryu Takanori.

We also would like to extend an offer to Barii Mori to lead our team.

Tojo has no F1RWRS/ARWS exit plan yet, so Takanori signs with S.H.I.T. :)

Autosport wrote:Katayama claims sex crazed postal worker lost entry

Kenji Katayama claims that a middle aged female postal worker who was hitting on him and he turned down, got angry and "lost" his entry. He said, "I was trying to post my entry and this female postal worker was hitting on me, I turned her down and surprise my entry was lost and the post office can find no trace of me ever posting it. I have made a complaint but it is too late for me. I am hoping a team that has an entry wants to merge with Katayama Racing, we have a base in Tsukuba in Ibaraki, we have a small number of staff. We also have drivers of myself, but I am a old fart in my 50s that is probably past it, Kyoko could not show her talent due to the poor car and maybe Shinobu Katayama. We would prefer a team that would have two Japanese drivers."

Katayama racing struggled with the car, a small staff and a complete lack of understanding of running a team hampered them but they had their moments with Kyoko did well at Motegi oval. Would anyone merge with Katayama? It is unlikely but the base could help a new team.

Whoops, I didn't notice that Yoshida as already taken.

In that case, Blokkmonsta extends an offer to Kastazumo Nakaya to drive for the team. And if that fails I will choose Nobihiro Okada instead.

As for Schnass, I am keeping Malik Zidan in reserve in case the German is not up to snuff.

The organisation of the championship can't accept this. If you decide to give away your entry, T.R.E. by FMecha has preference as first reserve team.

Yes, because klon would totally say, "I feel that FMecha would do a much better job with it than I."

If klon said he was giving up his entry without saying anything else, sure that's fair game. There isn't a order of preference for the reserve list, just two teams that got screwed and one user who wants to save one of them.

Luxray Engineering (RealRacingRoots)

Errr...you've no case there. The way waiting lists in canon have been for years now means you've got to wait your turn. I say this to you again, you do not get to be an exception to the rule.

J.O.U.R.N.A.L. wrote:TRE backs the comission decision to block Pretty Cure-Luxray deal

Takagi Racing Enterprises has expressed their pleasure after the decision by the SANDWICH's series management decision to prevent the entry of Pretty Cure Team Mugen to be handed over to Luxray Engineering, after it was discovered that the entry transfer was in breach of the reserve teams' preference order.

Speaking to the Japanese motorsport publication Weekly Autosport, Nobuhiro Ogami, TRE's vice-principal, stated "Do both Pretty Cure [Team Mugen] and Luxray [Engineering] understand that there is a preference in the whole waiting list stuff? We had the preference over Luxray as the first reserve team should one of selected teams pull out. Clearly, their deal is against the rules of reserve entry system." [Click for more]

To SuperAguri: TRE's management also personally offers a drive to Kyoko Katayama, should we get in. :) (I don't know the proper term for what is currently happening, actually)

Rejectsport wrote:Super Hanamura Intensity Team in Talks with Barii Mori
Newcomers S.H.I.T. are already making waves in their step up from Japanese Formula 3 to SANDWICH, as it is believed that the team is talking to now-retired F1RWRS racer Barii Mori, seeking to get the veteran Japanese driver into one of their cars for the upcoming season. While both driver and team have declined to comment on the rumours, it is expected that should the talks conclude successfully, that Mori will be the de facto team leader if nothing else - given that the team's other driver, Ryu Takanori, scored no points in the predecessor FRENCH series in 2016-17.

Signing Mori would be a great boon to SANDWICH as a whole, as the Japanese driver is quite popular in his home nation, and with a competitive package Mori would surely be a threat for the Driver's Championship.

After Katayama Racing failed entry for SANDWICH this season, it has been rumored that Mitsuri Motor Engineering is in talks with Kyoko Katayama for a seat, as well as the addition of store giants Daiso in the main sponsor roster for the team. While both sides declined to comment on this, it remains very possible that the move might happen.

There IS in fact an order of preference, since this happened to be included in the entry draw. TRE came out as first reserve, your team as second reserve. Sorry.

Neither Revo nor Trueba ever seem to have consistent numbers in canon, rotating every season rather than having a "set". So, I'll go with the nice coincidences; Trueba's GT-R car in 2017 was #24, so Greenlaw will take this number, while I spent some time trying to recruit Shizuka to NISMO's LMC team, which would have placed him in their lucky #23 car.

So, final number choices for Revolution Trueba;
#23 Hagane Shizuka
#24 Dan Greenlaw

I missed offering up drivers for this, but if anyone needs a solid pedaller to fill a vacant slot then I have a few drivers to consider:

Roberto Dinella (ITA) - Lampre keep pumping money into this guy's career and no-one quite knows why. He's dependable though, won races at F3RWRS level and has scored points in F2RWRS in 2017. Comes with free flashes of pink to add to your livery.

Josh Carlisle (GBR) - Josh has driven pretty much everything except an F1RWRS car and is keen to show what he can do in SANDWICH. He'll drive the wheels off his car (sometimes literally) such is his dedication to the team.

Chuck Barrett (USA) - An up-and-coming American looking to tie down a drive for 2018, Chuck is the perfect signing for a team looking for a bright star from the States. Drove for Octan in F3RWRS in 2017. It's rumoured that he considers fuel injection to be the work of Satan himself.

Connor O'Heagan (IRE) - The ginger-haired public face of the Shannon Group was unceremoniously sacked from the Boxtel F1RWRS team in 2017, and has a point to prove. Brings suitcases of cash from unsecured loans and dodgy investments. But hey, cash is cash right?

Alexey Pchelintsev (KAZ) - The man with the unpronounceable surname tried (and largely failed) to resurrect his ailing career in F5000 in 2017. Now with few options on the table he's looking at SANDWICH as the next shot of 300 volts to re-start his career. Has F1RWRS experience and spent all of his junior career in the Japanese motorsport scene.

Any of these are free and available to fill a seat at short notice and will take any drive so just sign them up if you want them! :)

Seeing as both teams run black on red, and the sponsors are pretty much the same as the one's that'd go on the car anyway, just reuse the Revo F1RWRS car for the Revo Trueba!

Just to clarify, I won't be doing any liveries for this; Gp2 liveries take literally minutes to make... an hour at most if you are trying to come up with something ultra-cool and work a lot in those logos. Ataxia and I will gladly help if you need guidance or convert them to final format but otherwise you must come up with the livery. Kurosawa livery will come from my part though as I only have to look for it in any late 90s carset.

Right...well...this is unfortunate. Loads of teams going for red liveries. I think I'll have to do another livery with inverted colours or something. Else the Revo-Trueba will just blend into the rest of the pack....
