Race - San Marino
Pierluigi Martini took a comfortable win for Arrows after taking the lead off the start and never looking back. Thierry Boutsen crossed the line in second just ahead of his Williams team-mate Jean Alesi, who never recovered from a terrible start which dropped him to eighth. Gerhard Berger brought his McLaren home in 4th, just holding off Michael Schumacher's Ferrari, who had to settle for 5th. Michele Alboreto got the last point to put Jordan onto the scoreboard for the season.

Qualifying - Monaco
Jean Alesi remains the only driver to have started from pole position this season as he leads teammate Boutsen in an all Williams front row. The second row of the grid sees Pierluigi Martini's Arrows joined by Ayrton Senna in the McLaren. Ivan Capelli drove a brilliant lap to put his Minardi fifth, ahead of Alain Prost's Ferrari. At the back of the grid Martin Brundle continues Ligier's run of missing having two cars start. He will be joined on the sidelines by Riccardo Patrese who crashed his Life early in the session. This means that Karl Wendlinger has dragged the Andrea Moda onto the grid for the first time this season.

Race - Monaco
Mika Hakkinen took the first win of his career in the Dallara after a great defence, holding off the Ferrari of Michael Schumacher for the entire second half of a race that saw the top three qualifyers wipe each other out half way around the first lap. Ivan Capelli was also in the battle for the lead but fell back towards the end of the race and had to settle for third in his Minardi. Eddie Irvine drove a lonely race but made the most of the attrition and managed to bring his AGS home in fourth for some valuble points. Another driver who grabbed the opportunity with both hands was Alessandro Nannini in the Life who was holding off Heinz-Harald Frentzen's Onyx for the last point. Sixth became fifth when Philippe Alliot stuck his Benetton nose first into the barrier three laps from home and Nannini held on to score Life's first two points in F1. Karl Wendlinger was the last finisher, 5 laps down, but Andrea Moda just seemed happy to have made the finish.

Dallara management are pleased with the teams performance at Monaco and shows that we are is a position to take the fight to enter the top 3. As a team we hope to build further on this and provide Mansell and Hakkinen an ever improving car

Give large reliability for Jordan as while we are able to run in the midfield, reliability is a big problem for us.
