1992 Virtual F1 - RedEyes504 Canada Up

Post by RedEyes504 »

After a 1991 season in which Alain Prost wrapped up his fourth world title, and Williams-Renault took the honors in the Constructors championship the F1 circus rolls on into 1992. Last year the FIA announced that the field would be cut to 20 teams for this season and accepted a bid from a new team (Andrea Moda) so the bottom two teams in the constructors championship will not have their entries renewed. Because of this we will be missing the Osella and Coloni teams. Also, as the FIA have accepted a bid from Peter Sauber for a team next season the lowest ranking team will again be lost.

Your finances from last year have been taxed at 40% and prize money added for final championship positions. Finally, there have been some alterations made to the Pre-Qualifying format, with the top eight drivers being promoted to qualifying, regardless of team.

Actually, much as I would like to mount a title tilt with McLaren (largely built around the hopeful signing of Schumacher from wherever he was languishing) I've changed my mind.

Can I try to save EuroBrun, please?
