Surely Jeletraz will score points from third on the grid? If he's going to keep up his no-points form, he's going to have to do something spectacular(ly rejectful)

Presenting to you, Round 7 at Shojo, where we see engines with as much structural integrity as Jell-O, a total wuss behind the wheel and the spiritual successor to the Crashy Kink from Macau...

Race 7 -- Shojo

I don't understand what's so funny about Yofat's name? He's just a regular racing driver from Kuwait like any other. And judging by this race he's actually pretty succesful at making moves on the other guys :vergne:

Jeletraz actually managed to score a point! Now he just needs to score about 38 more and he'll be back into the championship fight ;)

Then just imagine how I felt when Trevaskis went from crap even in equal AI to running the entire race within a second of the leader! Although I do find it really weird that he never once attacked, given that his "Ultra Pro" was aggression he should surely have been climbing all over the car in front

The Random Racing League is back for Round 8, where we visit a deserted Japanese track with a muscle car on steroids. And, apparently, the AI behaviour may act as if they've been on the juice, too...

Regardless of how well or otherwise John O. Groats does, this race should be fun.

Fantastic qualifying from The Canadian there.

Also, may be a bit of a reach here, but is Mr Alan Schutraber a distant German relation to this forum's favourite spammer? :P

Disappointed that John O. Groats didn't get a podium, let alone the win, given his strong performance. He would have paid many, many groats from his own pocket to have kept his podium.

With Round 8 done, we only have two races left. Save for that USF2000 Macau event, we haven't had a truly chaotic event since.

I have a feeling, though, that might change pretty soon...

Qualifying is up. Mind you, this is nothing at all compared to the race, just to let you know.

I mean, qualifying is important, yes, but the race completely messes this up.

I mean, if you still want to see quali, here ya go.

And so, everyone agreed never to use quadbikes again. Not because of the race result, but because Eileen McPherson was actually competent with them. Seriously, did she make something like, overtakes in this race? As in, plural?

Plural, yes. She did overtaken about as many times she actually overtook people, I believe, so I call it a net zero.

AlphaRacer seems to have his strategy sorted for the next time he DNFs:

Deepmind AlphaRacer wrote:If you win, you need not have to explain...If you lose, you should not be there to explain!

While BattleRacer offers some thoughts, perhaps related to everyone's failure to finish:
