RIP Nanni Galli 1940-2019

Post by Bleu »

Another death of a reject driver happened this weekend, as Nanni Galli passed away on Saturday. 17 starts, of which one was in Ferrari at French GP 1972. He also drove McLaren but failed to qualify for Italian GP 1970 - and also for Frank Williams Racing Cars which used Iso-Marlboro chassis. With that car he got 9th place in Brazilian GP 1973, which ended up his best result of F1 career.

In sports cars he was 2nd in Targa Florio and 4th in 24 Hours of Le Mans.
