Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Saudi Arabia 2023
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Saudi Arabia 2023
1. Kevin Magnussen. I imagine points for the lower midfielders are going to be in short supply this season, a clinical drive to secure one for Haas.
2. Yuki Tsunoda. Almost scored a point in the barge that is the AT04.

Magnussen - Nice point for Haas
Yuki - Fought for a point until near the end in an absolute dog of a car

Tread lightly in ARWS. Every decision might be your last.
Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Saudi Arabia 2023
Very slim pickings here but Magnussen getting an important point for Haas could prove important - especially now Alpine seem to have established themselves 5th in the pecking order.
Also Checo - I expected Max to swallow him up once he got into 2nd after the SC that should never have been. We need Checo to step up and keep doing this to make some sort of championship race because Red Bull are so much faster than everyone else it's untrue.
True, I didn't expect both Mercedes to beat both Ferraris but 4th and 5th for that team isn't IIDOTR worthy is it.

1) Yuki Tsunoda: A decent effort in what is a pretty rubbish car.
2) Kevin Magnussen: Slugged his way to a point.
Honourable Mention: Sergio Perez for not just ceding his first place to Verstappen.

Kevin Magnussen: A point for Haas, clearly the standout performance for me.
Honorable mention to Piastri for a good weekend, apart from that one moment at the start...

Perez I honestly expected Verstappen to catch up to Perez quite easily but Max never really got close. Fair play to Checo.

1. Yuki Tsunoda - Almost got a point in a dogshit of a car.
2. ...No one? I guess Kevin Magnussen for that move.

1. Perez
Red Bull is the fastest car, but it never seemed that Verstappen would catch him, so he deserved a victory.
2. Tsunoda
Close to the points and multiple positions ahead of de Vries while most of the other team were running in consecutive positions.

Shout out to Piastri. Unlucky with an incident with Gasly but was easily better than Lando this weekend.

K-Mag: Giving Haas their first point of the year
Tsunoda: So close to points in what I thought was the worst car this weekend. Put De Vries in the shade
HM: Piastri: Q3 in just his 2nd weekend and without damage would probably have scored
HM: Perez: After the SC I thought Verstappen would eat him alive yet it never looked like happening

No strong IIDOTR candidates for this race, but...
Magnussen for P10 in a car that doesn't seem all too quick this year
Tsunoda for almost getting P10 for the same reasons above
Piastri's qualifying performance

Votes are up. Not the most inspiring line-up of candidates, but it wasn't the most inspiring of races. The vote goes ahead regardless!
