Re: Predicament Predictions - 2011 Season Preview

But drivers can be outside the 107% and still be allowed to race due to force majeure. Hence (i guess) the question.

Re: Reject (or not) track design.

As you can see I have not kept completely to the rules, seeing as our only somewhat big city is Vienna ("Wien" in German) - so there are three races there compared to just one anywhere else. One of these is in Vienna's second district (where I currently live). The second track, in the Vien...

Yes, it's Rookie of the Race (in terms of best position). Don't call it ROTR, though.

Thank you, and thanks again for organizing the Predicament Predictions! And let me stress again that that "critisism" you are speaking of was mean only in the most constructive way!

And let me also say, that it still says "qualifiers" in your list ;)

Re: Reject (or not) track design.

Also tried a circuit design for my home-track in Vienna's second district. m (to be driven clockwise) Note: In the roundabout that is "Ferris Wheel Loop" (next to Vienna's Ferris Wheel) the track doesn not actually go right first, just to then turn 180 degrees and go back around the rounda...

Re: Predicament Predictions - 2011 Season Preview

If that new "qualifyers" category really is there to list all qualifyers: Wouldn't a non-qualifyers category be easier and shorter to fill in? Also, what do we get the point for? Getting all qualifyers right? Or do we get one point for every correct prediciton (i.e. "d'Ambrosio, Karth...

Re: 2011 Bahrain Grand Prix discussion thread

Oh no! Petrov spins out of the lead after sweving wildly on the backstraight. Radios to the team he's sorry - he was just trying to test how slippery the straight would be. The drivers behind him are lucky to avoid his car and he rejoins in fourth.

Re: BBC considering not renewing F1 contract

The first idea is terrible, because the race is no longer live then. The split-screen is fine, but if state owned TV wants to spend the money I pay for it to play something I like to watch without ad breaks (which, at least here in Austria - and I suspect in Britain, too - are forbidden by competiti...

Red Bull: Vettel - He might be the less consistent of the two finishing-races-wise, but he is more consistently quick McLaren: Button - I like Hamiltons aggressive driving style and might be one of his few fans on this forum. But I think Button will be able to handle the tricky new tires better Fer...

Atlético Madrid supporter? Aren't they known for being sufferers? And, much more to the point (and probably part of the suffering): Doesn't Maria de Villota drive for you Superleague Formula team? At least she used to, I don't know now. And this proves that Superleague Formula never came close of w...
