Re: F1 rejects who should have been F1 greats

Not an reject but Elio de Angelis should've been a world champion if he hadn't died early. On many occasions he could take the fight up to Senna at Lotus IMO. Made his debut at 21 iirc, which at the time was not really usual.

Re: French GP Possibility

Ugh, neither Paul Ricard nor Magny-Cours produced good races.

I don't think a French GP will happen until there is a French driver on the grid and thus more interest from the public. Jules Bianchi is their hope.

Not 2012 but a 2013 silly season rumour, found this referenced on m motorsport sub-forum, seems a tad crazy to me, what does everyone else think? m It's not that far fetched. But the fact is that Ferrari needs a better car if they want to win the WCC. An open spot at McLaren would start the Raikkon...

He's sixth in the drivers!! So he won't get replaced/sacked/dumped.

He needs to improve his qualifying pace though to maximize results.

Since everyone is nominating Hamilton (and with good reason) I give my vote to Jaime Alguersuari . However, I do think he will beat Mansell's pole position record.

I have no doubt that Sutil will drive all the rounds of 2011 in the Force India. I don't think Lewis will move from McLaren as I see McLaren being the best option for him. He knows the team inside out and while they have had some downs (early 2009) they have been competitive almost all the time since 2007, especially with Lewis at the wheel. Plus, he can have the McLaren pretty ...
