Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - 2012 Germany

1. Kobayashi - I thought he would finish outside the points when I saw that he was starting on hard tires. However, he got his equal best finish after what turned out to be a great race for him. 2. Button - I predicted him for ROTR after his unimpressive recent races but he out-qualified Hamilton fo...

Re: Your Reject Of The Race - Germany

I agree on Rosberg, another awful qualifying in wet conditions for him. I also nominate Felipe Massa for being similarly slow and almost taking out his team mate.

Re: The GP2/GP3 Thread

Teixeira was entertainingly rejectful: got a drive-through penalty for ignoring blue flags but stayed out, getting black-flagged. Great drive from Cecotto after a strategic gamble (starting on slicks while most drivers had wet tires). In my opinion, the man of the race was Stéphane Richelmi who got ...

Re: Felipe Massa and the worst run in Ferrari history

Massa should be replaced as soon as possible. I don't think there are many drivers in the field who would have done worse than him today. The Ferrari has become a very good car, especially in wet conditions as Alonso showed once again. However, Massa is horribly inconsistent. There is no excuse for ...

Re: The HRT thread

A Clos-PDLR partnership would work IMO. One's a young hard-charger and the other is a cool level-headed veteran. Partnerships like that, in any sport, just work. I would also like to see Clos at HRT. He has already improved based on his performances in practice sessions. Clos could have some compet...

Re: F1 Dreams

I often have F1 dreams. Usually, they are about chaotic races with weird results. Last year I dreamed of a wet race where drivers kept crashing out, one of the cars (a Force India) flying over a tire barrier! With a few laps to go, there were only six cars left in the race with Kovalainen in fourth ...

Re: Di Resta to Mercedes in 2013? - 2013 Silly Season Thread

While I support Finnish drivers, including Kovalainen, and would like to see him in a better team, I don't want these Sauber rumors to be true unless Pérez replaces Massa at Ferrari. Kobayashi should not be replaced. With the exception of the last two races where he made mistakes, he has been both f...

Re: 2012 German Grand Prix Discussion Thread

You know when's it raining a little too hard when you can sail boats down the pit lane Also, welcome to the forums Meatwad! Thanks! I finally decided to join after several months of reading the discussions on this forum. I hope Marussia gets a good result along with Caterham and HRT. I know it's ve...

Two years ago in Suzuka, Glock was second fastest in FP3. However, only two drivers set a lap time (Alguersuari and Glock).
