Re: The New Boys on the Block-YOU Make the Decision.

This is a brand new team and it was proved several times that buying the best equipment in itself is not enough to be competitive. Steady team building is more important, and for that, Cosworth is more than enough. In my opinion at least. We have no chance of winning races among normal circumstances...

Round 1 - Brazilian Grand Prix First toe into the water The Brazilian Grand Prix meant to be an advent of a new era in Formula 1. The ban of the electrical gadgets was a new challenge for everybody. The smaller teams hoped that now they would catch up on the leaders, newcomers hoped to set foot in ...

Count it for the DFV. I'm voting for reliability :) After all, 1981 was known about smoking turbos and the triumph of DFVs. Well.... partly :P

Tyre is Michelin. If you want points, you have to finish first. Engine... Well, it's only me, there really isn't such a big difference between the engines? Anyway, I would go with the good old DFVs, or if you want to gamble, with a Renault package. it is definitely the best engine out there and it g...

Season intorduction I won't spend time on introducing 1994, everyone knows it too well. Chapter 1 – 1994 On the waves of the Pacific Prologue It was January 1994. Our new team was coming together. We had Bertrand [Gachot] as the first driver, but we needed another one with a lot of money. We had several options. We had Oliver Gavin, who was our test driver, we had Paul Belmondo who of...

Rider of the Carpathians – Heroes of the Hungaroring

The story will follow the adventures of an amateur Hungarian racing driver, who takes the chance of his life and buys himself into Formula 1, in one of the most complicated seasons of all time - 1994. This is the history of one of the four major characters I created since I found the first Formula ...

Re: Fixing Ferrari 312T2 1:14 model

You definitely have to repaint the cars, especially the white parts. I would go with painting for all the logos and details too. YOu can either use masking or print the logos on decal paper, it depends on your resources. To fix the suspension, my guess would be to look around among RC cars. They use...

They also negotiated for Minardi and Arrows, but neither team was for sale. Later however, I think it was the same investment group who organized the sponsorship so he could drive once again for Arrows (Lost, Boys, Orange and some minor sponsors)

Here's a reject moment: A driver disobeying team orders, and hitting his teammate. I'm almost sure this happened already. I just can't remember who it was Maybe Alesi crashed with Berger once in '97... After Vettel's comments today, how about a team running out of wet weather tyres in the race and ...

Re: I want to watch old F1 races

It's what I have been saying every so often on this forum for several years now. There are some races that I would love to see again - Adelaide 1995, Monaco 1996, Spa 1998, Imola 1994 (never seen it in full), etc... I can tell you, one of the Chinese websites does indeed have Imola 94. Murray Walke...

I want to watch old F1 races

As the title says, I want to watch as many full Formula 1 races as possible from the past, but of course they are difficult to find. I found some random races on torrent sites, and countless season reviews which show 5-10 minutes of every race, but of course it's not the real thing... My dream is to...

This is basically a thread for things that you could imagine Reject teams or drivers doing, but unfortunately never happened. For Example: A reject team withdrawing from a flyaway round because one or more of their cars got damaged in freight. This, in fact, happened once. It wasn't a flyaway race,...

I was astonished when I accidentally found this page.
Either that, or it is a really nicely composed tribute page. It is especially interesting to read the press releases. In my opinion, it's a very rare jewel of Formula 1 history.

I'm sooooooo jealous now! Pacific is my all-time favorite team in Formula 1. Don't know why, I just love them. Unfortunately I watched Formula 1 in '96 the first time so it is really hard now to get anything related to the team nowadays :(
