I noticed that only the helmets that came with the mod I'm using work... But, I have (another!) question: How do I change the wing package that the AI uses? I'm using the IndyCar 1994-1995 mod. I want to race around the Calder Park oval ( ) with speedway wings, but the AI keep using the road course...

Found another one. Not an F1 driver, but as ryangregg also listed IndyCar drivers, this should be OK. Bernard Jourdain, a Mexican driver with 18 IndyCar starts, was born in Brussels.
