Please explain how Herbert was poor at the Nurburgring, because, 1995 and 2000 aside, he was generally on his teammate's pace.

There's also the small matter of this particular race. All in all hardly a weak circuit for Herbert.

Forgot about the (in)famous race in 1999 because it was classed under the European GP tag.

Otherwise the only thing I can remember (bearing in mind I grew up during the Schumacher years) is Herbert retiring a lot in the Nurburgring and Monaco

So far today, they've replaced a fuel pump and the right-front brake assembly on Hamilton's car. The race hasn't even started yet, guys

A late brake problem for Hamilton and that coupled with a fuel pressure change is not an ideal start. Have Mercedes reliability issues returned?

Here's hoping that Wibbah doesn't make a tortoise start

Hamilton's having brake issues...

I have a bad feeling this one is going to go Vettel's way.

Hamilton down to third behind the Red Bulls. For the third consecutive Nurburgring Grand Prix, the man starting P2 leads at the start.

I can't decide what's less pleasurable, watching Vettel lead and the inevitable TackyFingerOfAutism, or two guys hitting a ball at each other.

Webber is now going to suffer a much worse fate. A wheel has flown off and hit a Mercedes mechanic. Hope he's OK. And I think Webber is out of contention
Why does this never happen to Vettel (indeed)?!
