F1 Rejects Podcast OOPS!: Button's WDC Prediction
F1 Rejects Podcast OOPS!: Button's WDC Prediction
A long time ago I recall hearing on one of the podcasts that Jenson Button was predicting his 2009 World Championship, and the publicocrapometer went off.
From the 2008 Off-Season Edition:... Here's the clip.

It's almost like the F1 Rejects Podcast is not the immutable word of god as I once believed it to be, but rather the mad ravings of a couple of Aussies. My mind, it has been blown.

To be fair, none of us knew if Jenson would even have a team to take the WDC with at that point and WDCs are quite difficult to win on roller-skates...

Well, Jamie and Enoch's publicocrapmeter was showing the signs of wear and tear. After all, it was the aftermath of the Spy Scandal...
Stay home, Colin Kolles!

They do have some smooth voices.
But I am going to say that they were definitely made for podcasts.

Quite frankly, you guys are the funniest out of an un-funny lot.

See, the thing is, you're not funny. That's the main problem with all of this.

Because errors like this just makes going back and listening to the old podcasts worth it.
There's another episode where you called Kobayashi "dull", two years before he made his debut.

That's truly appalling. Has there ever been a dull Japanese driver?

Reason: Two personal attacks. Also, if you're going to be a dickwad, spell my username right.

The quote went something like this; "Trulli, Glock, Kobayashi. Not exactly the most awe-inspiring lineup in Formula 1."

We must boycott the podcast until they issue a full retraction. They'll be sorry when all five of us are no longer letting them entertain us for free.

What do you mean "personal attacks"? I'm just quoting you! Shinji's getting free digs at me, and now you're calling me "dickwad"?

You weren't just quoting us, first off, as you were adding to it. Secondly, there were attacks directed at both of us that I don't want to deal with. Just because it's the internet and you're supposedly anonymous doesn't give you grounds to be a giant dickwad.
I'm locking this topic. Sorry, everyone. We just seem to be devolving into flame wars again.
