"One day Bruno told me that he had heard the engine momentarily making a strange sound; his suspicion was that all the cylinders had been operating." --Nigel Roebuck
I went to Brands Hatch (yes, again!) to watch some Truck racing and while there, two rather different vehicles reminded me of this thread and I would like Phoenix to pass his verdict on them:

There seem to be several pink cars - Fiat 500s, Ford Kas, etc. - here in Essex (to the east of London, north of the Thames)... Very girly.

That's because you live in Essex. 'Tis an evil place.

'Tis indeed. Unfortunately, 'tis where my parents live and I can't afford to live independantly (yet...) so it's where I'm stuck. Hense why I'm back off to university in September to Brunel University, in West London.

This topic has gone somewhat off-track, but hey, we'll cope. What are you going to study?

Occupational Therapy. The NHS will cover tuition fees and a living bursary. 3 years long. And it will be further away from Brands than I am now - the one not-so-good thing about it. But hey, I'll be in the London suburbs again for the Olympics, just as I was when it was announced that London had won the bid. Now I still need to put in a bid for tickets. My 30th birthday is on the day of the Closing Ceremony...
