Lack of Reject-avatars
Re: Lack of Reject-avatars
I fancy changing my avatar to the car that Damon Cannon is driving at the moment in the F1CC; the 1998 Arrows A19. Beautiful beast of a car.

The submitted avatar is 125 pixels wide and 71 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 75 pixels wide and 75 pixels high, but no larger than 125 pixels wide and 75 pixels high.

In conjunction with the 1999 F1CC Season, I think it's time for an avatar change. Could someone please resize this? Thanks.

Re: Lack of Reject-avatars
please resize photo for my avatar?
Re: Lack of Reject-avatars
Well, as much as I like Markus Winkelhock, I am growing tired of my avatar. So I have to get something rejectful again - and I believe if someone could get me a good avatar-ish picture of it, the "Wings For Life"-livery driven by Coulthard in his last race would be neat.
Edith says - I have found myself a good picture, but now I need someone to resize it.

Re: Lack of Reject-avatars
I decided I was already bored of my John Cleland avatar, but when choosing a new one, I couldn't decide. Therefore, I inadvertedly created something of an avatar gallery while choosing
So, if anyone wishes for a new avatar, here are some correctly sized and formatted and ready to use avatars
Badoer extracting himself from Forti FG01B, Argentina Grand Prix, 1996.
Enrico Bertraggia driving Coloni C3, Italian Grad Prix, 1989.
Esteban Tuero crashing into Toranosuke Takagi, Suzuka 1998,
Ricardo Rosset drifting/spinning (you decide) his Tyrrell 026, Luxembourg Grand Prix, 1998.
(Not a reject avatar) Patrick Depallier on five wheels, Tyrrell P34, Monaco Grand Prix, 1976
Scarab L4, Dutch Grand Prix, 1960.
P.S. I eventually decided on Luciano Burti obliterating everything in Hockenheim 2001 for my own one.

I like this one - always loved the quirkiness of the P34 being F1's only raced six-wheeler. Will be my next one as soon as I'm bored of my current one. Who would have thought that a future world champion racing for a former constructor's champion team founded by a champion driver (who won a championship for said team!) all converged at a point where it was a rejectful combination, unable to do better than being lapped 4 times twice, in Britain and Hungary, outside the top-10 both times at the chequered flag?

Ah, come on, if you wanted a Senna icon it could at least have been one of him racking up a DNQ in a Toleman...

Almost 10 years to the day until that fateful weekend in 1994...
And he was outqualified by the perrenial constant reject, Piercarlo Ghinzani, who was the only other driver to DNQ that weekend!

Just saying that Senna's shitbox Toleman meant that he posted the slowest time during quali, putting him behind someone who scored a grand total of two points from 111 grands prix.
And that you would do much better with a Toleman avatar.
(Should I be using naughty words like shitbox around someone so young? )

Re: Lack of Reject-avatars
Apparently Senna was having serious tyre issues which explain why he failed to qualify and even Piercarlo Ghinzani was faster than him. What not many people know, though, is that Jo Gartner, driving last year's execrable FA1E, with an aspirated Alfa Romeo V12 engine, managed to qualify for the race. Whether Ghinzani was experiencing the same issues that plagued Senna, I don't know.
