Re: 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix Thread

I think we can call this qualifying session: "The revanche of the lower-rated team-mate". There were a lot of drivers today who outqualified their team mate in spite of public opinion (and previous trends) disfavouring them: Rosberg outqualified Hamilton for the firs time this season, Serg...

As bizzare as this may seem. I can't think of any recipient more deserving than Sebastian Vettel, the winner. If last week's victory was "one of the easiest" for Raikonnen, then this one must have been one of the hardest victories in his career for Vettel. After all, weren't te Red Bulls s...

Newey's designs may not be liked by everyone - but they do work, otherwise how would Williams have been so quick during the 90's? The McLaren Mercedes package has only had one constructors championship - that was Newey's car. It is unfair to say he ruined McLaren because McLaren are good at doing t...

A sneaking suspicion has occurred to me, one which I will keep an eye on over the next few races, and which may become an article if I find more proof to back up my theory. I had a bad dream a few days ago, that after 4 years of relative stability, Formula 1 was still dominated by a fizzy drinks manufacturer. I can't stress the fact that Vettel is really just baby Schumi and is ruining the sport. Not (just) him, but Red Bull as a whole. Ferrari has at least tradition and passion for this sport. As for Kobayashi, he doesn't seem to suit the economy drives that Sauber like to employ.
