Re: Stupidest actions in F1

Austria 2002. Evryone knew Barrichello was playing second-fiddle to Schumacher but to let him overtake, to win the race, barely feet from the flag, made a mockery of the sport. I think this incident of team-orders finally forced the FIA to ban it.

Re: IIDOTR - Canadian GP 2011

Don't think schumi deserves it, he's had a year and a half to get to the front. Button and Toro Rosso for me.

Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread

I'm still buzzing!! I'd like to write a full race review but I haven't got enough hours in the week to manage it, so... Good races for: Button - obviously. Vettel - Was in complete control, just the last lap let him down. But a very good drive at the front anyway. Schumacher - it's not often I want ...

Circuits virtually clear of standing water and the shower is merely a couple
of drips. Everyone back on full wets too.

yeah baby yeah m just to add doesn't look like going away, so both Mcl, Mercs, Rubinio and Tim O'Glock with full wet setup worth watching that's the 5live commentary box isn't it? The race is in one hour, so it's going to be a wet start . I just HOPE they start without the bloody SC. Keep an eye ou...

Re: You are Sauber Management

I think he did the right thing in bringing in De La Rosa. He's got plenty of experience and all Peter Sauber wants is the car to finish and remain trouble-free. Sure, quali wasn't the greatest, and an earlier crash probably dented his confidence. But I'm sure during the race he will stay out the wal...

Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread

Mario, that's a fair point about mclaren. But how many times has there been a race where there's a 30, 40 or 50% chance of rain and there hasn't been? I think mclaren took a very big risk in running, let's be honest, a wet-weather set-up. We all know how well Button and Hamilton cope with changeable...

Re: 2011 Canadian Grand Prix Discussion Thread

I thought Di Resta did well to get 6th, although no-one really knows what fuel loads the other cars around him were carrying. And Sutil getting 12th (I think), before crashing is good. I can see a few midfield drivers saving a set of fresh tyres in Q2 to use for the race, as tyre wear might be a pro...

Re: Hello everyone! New members' check in desk

Hi there! Been reading loads of profiles on your website about all the rejects in Formula 1 and decided to join the forum. Little bit about me, I'm 24 and have been following F1 since 1996, supporting Damon Hill. After he retired I switched alliances to the Minardi team and were gutted when Red Bull...
